Even uninstalling SetPoint didn't fix it.

Although mouse control is a major pet peeve of mine the mouse control wasn't so bad that it was unplayable. At least when 'enhance mouse precision' was disabled. With it enabled it was excruciatingly slow. So that might be another solution for some people.

As a software developer I understand your predicament. So in short I'll still buy it :P

Tried the demo. Even though I'm terribad at adventure games, this one was quite awesome, I liked the fact that you can fail some puzzles... Yet the game allows you to continue anyways. Besides wh40k influences, Horatio reminds me of Wakfu's Nox (the main villain). Even the fabled power source that is stolen is similar to the Heliacube (a magical power source that Nox is obsessed to tinker with).

Also, Crispin needs a "shut down/mute" feature for the full game, that guy tries too hard to be funny and he's not.

Played the demo and loved it. The art, story and dialogue are great. I never play adventure games so I did have trouble figuring out what to do some times. I also really like crispin btw, seems some people hate him and some people love him.

Cant wait to play the full game....

I bought the DVD version.
And I just finished downloading the digital version.

I don't think I'll be able to play it today.
But I do hope to go at it tomorrow.

I have purposefully avoided to play the demo, as to not spoil the pleasure of full game.

I think I'm pretty far in now, and I must say that it is awesome. Awesome art, great story and voice acting that does not suck, and, in fact, is quite pleasurable to listen to.

This game is fucking amazing. The only problem I have with it so far (a very slight one) is that the puzzles are a bit on the easy side, but I've been playing adventure games since forever, so that might just be me. What's really important is that the puzzle implementation is clever and logical.

It's just like playing an old adventure game back in the day, right down to the overall atmosphere and the pixelation.

Crispin ain't no Joey, but I absolutely love the setting and artwork. Main character is very likable, which is rare in modern adventures. VA is quite decent too, which is even rarer. No complaints so far, apart from the mouse acceleration and a crash when I tried to use putty with oil. :(

The only puzzle I had trouble with was
the motor from the car in the Underworks
because I'd written them off as scenery objects after cursorily (literally) examining a few stacks. That falls under the "pixel hunt failure" category rather than "logic failure," though, so my honor is intact.

Of course it's going to be somewhat obtuse... you're in an imaginary robot world with imaginary gadgets all over the place. Creative thinking is rewarded.

Nitpicking a bit here, but he said "adventure" is one of his favorite things, which probably means he enjoys those Cinematic QTE Experience™ Press A To Win© games like that Indiana Jones ripoff for consoles I forget the name of.

I just finished it. A solid and enjoyable adventure game. Which for some reason, is so rare these days.

Pros:
- the graphics and the sounds are perfect for an old style adventure game. Also the vibe is really nice - "post-human" "fallout-like" atmosphere.
- the story is between good and very good, also it unravels quite nicely (with a few exceptions),
- good voice acting and an witty sidekick :)

Cons:
- right click and left click are doing different things, there is one puzzle were left-clicking is really critical (no spoilers)
- some objects have really only one use, but you have to carry them for the entire game,
- some "interesting points" are activated only after certain triggers,
- the end feels rushed or something.

MRY, you guys nailed the "retro" feel (as well as the post-apocalyptic feel) perfectly. I was reminded immediately of certain scenes in the VGA Space Quest series, among others. I would gladly pay $60 a pop for adventure games in the same vein as Primordia. If you could also produce a quartery magazine and send it through snail mail, that would be just swell.

Left-click is "manipulate," right-click is "look." I was never confused about this, although since "looking" at a toolbox (for example) zooms in on it the same way "manipulating" it would, I can understand some confusion.

I swear, I think 1/2 the puzzles in the game were solvable with
the plasma torch, the transmitter, and Crispin.

That's just as well, as most difficulties in real life can be solved with
with duct tape, WD-40, and a knife

Thanks! Our next project will probably not be an adventure game, but the genre does exert great pull over us.

The fact that you could use the same tools over and over again was deliberate. As I said in one of the commentary tracks, I like making tools "characters" -- like the crowbar in Half-Life or Indiana Jones's whip. Also, what Yaar said!

Anyway, thanks again so much. Hopefully you'll like our next project, too, which is more RPGish.

I have a story related question:
What actually killed all the humans in Metropol? Because the decoded chip made it look like Horus self destructed before completing its objective.
