Actually creating proper loading and saving system in a complex game is EXTREMELY hard. I guess beta wouldn't have something usable for a while.

Combat is a custerfluck, more than in IE games.

The clusterfuckishness of the combat was my one main gripe with the IE games.

That being said, PoE seems pretty damn awesome from what you guys have posted so far! Keep it coming!

When a character disappears, is there any way to get him to show up again?

Combat doesn't look like much of a clusterfuck to me, but admittedly I'm just watching a stream, not actually playing the game. Still, looks more or less well-paced already. A couple of abilities seem overpowered though.

Pathfinding while exploring is ok. In combat characters bump into each other like mad and don't properly surround an enemy when you mass attack. Obsidian are aware of these problems, though.

Some characters don't fall down when they run out of stamina (they don't keep fighthing, just stand there).

I think one of the problems with combat is the lack of clear indication of who's engaging who.

Characters very often run into each other and get blocked. About what I expected at this point given the streams

They should put the summon portraits under the summoner like they do with the ranger and his/her pet.

Strap Yourselves In Pathfinder: Wrath
For the night I have played priest and cipher on normal. I intend to play priest again on hard tomorrow.

I do not want to judge too much on balance, but the priest level 3 spell Ward is very strong and very useful. From what I have seen, enemies take a very decent amount of damage if they stay on top of it. I could essentially cover my party or a chokepoint with two wards (one from my priest and the other from the BB priest) and watch the incoming enemies burn. At least on normal, things died in seconds. A max intellect and might priest can really do some damage with that spell.

I'll definitely post feedback on the Obsidian forum later (some bugs).

Has anyone else had some fun builds, etc?

FYI, for borderless fullscreen windowed mode add the launch parameter -popupwindow

It might default to a lower resolution than your desktop, switch it in game, quit, launch and re-select your desktop resolution in the launcher.

enjoy takes notes in a second monitor with the game seamlessly fullscreen in your main

This is excellent, thanks.

Also does anyone else feel a weird delay for the characters to follow orders (mostly spells and shit)? Sometimes I cast something and I wonder if it's gonna be executed or not, and when it's gonna happen.

Sure, I'm playing through IWD right now. I don't know though, it feels differently here, as if I'm not sure whether they received the order or not at times. I don't know why. I'm wondering if it's just me, lol. It probably is.

EDIT: Maybe the visual feedback?
