POE2 kind of shown how many of those speedy zoom zoomers are in POE1 and how much they matter. They always were loud shitty small clique that overtook reddit in last 5-7 years.

They paid for your game. You should really be more grateful, if you actually like PoE 2. Thing is, the crowd that loves to hate on PoE 1, from what I've seen, have their share of complaints about PoE 2. And they are... the same complaints as the "zoomers".

This is just a really dumb business decision, and we'll see that play out over time. It's like telling your investors to fuck off. If Tencent is willing to pick up the bill entirely maybe that makes sense, but GGG's situation is not analogous to Blizzard or another corporate studio, they built everything off the back of supporter packs, showing those people the middle finger is a hell of an audacious move, we'll just have to see if it is only "audacious" or also "retarded".

cope lmao poe2 is massively successful and its still in early access. it's going to keep dwarfing poo1 and theres nothing you can do about it. 4000 concurrent players and the devs dont even give a fuck, all things are as they should be. and good Lord poo1 is incredibly ugly by comparison

Yeah, of course PoE 1 is going to die, that's because GGG killed it. It has nothing to do with quality. Same deal with Diablo 3 and Diablo 4, no one thinks Diablo 4 was better than D3 on launch.

Everyone that quit D3 earlier thought D4 was better. It is not hard to be better than that shitfest that basically launched PoE by how bad it was and ruined Blizzards good reputation for first time.
