Ok, you just presented the only scenario where I will accept someone playing as a woman and believe they're not gay/feel like a woman trapped in a man's body.

Now all these other guys who aren't married are going to invent a wife that they are "roleplaying" as.

They're not roleplaying at all. They're murderhoboing with nice scenery. The retards who want to roleplay as stronk wimmen are the ones who are on the crusade against sexiness.

BTW, autogynephilia is pretty much the opposite of gay. They are some nasty sons of bitches as a rule.

I always play as a male character, I like to RP in games but I want to identify with my character and I dont feel comfortable playing as a women in RPG where you need to make decisions that have consequence and other similar reasons

But I always have women in my party based games or as companions in single character RPG like Elder Scrolls and always for Romance arcs

I pick a female when I play healer in a mmorpg, in order to reinforce gender stereotype.
Ah, good man, Im the same. Women are more believable healers and its always good to support gender equality ...not stereotype ;)

Women make better nurses, not healers. The best doctors clerics are men.
That is not true, women look much hotter in a nurses outfit ...everyone knows this :M

I tend to play as female character if RPG offers character creation.
Rather stare at woman ass than man ass.
how can you see her ass in blobber or in isometry?
What kind of stupid ass question is that nigga? You turn the character around.

Therefore they make better nurses by your own admission.

On the one hand, I always thought that guys who always played females vampires in TES games were closet cross dressers. On the other hand, isn't the point of role playing to play the role of someone different from yourself (although in current year that could be considered "problematic" and "cultural appropriation")?

Not necessarily. It can be. I like to play a super human/idealized version of myself who is also morally flexibile and not bound by the law. So basically, a power/murder hobo fantasy.

I understand not all players would enjoy something like that. I understand playing someone different than you but why a woman?

I get it, most us in real life are lawful good(for the most part) so there is an appeal to being evil, its just a game.

What's the appeal of larping as a woman? I've yet to get a satisfactory answer or much of an answer at all.

The appeal is to look at an approximation of a female body while you look at the screen, gaynenmorden.

Oh as far as the cultural appropriation, I heard in future editions of elder scrolls games you will have to submit proof of your race in order to be allowed to play as a redguard.

I think there's also going to be a reminder that comes with the games stating those of European descent should make sure they spend just as much time on learning how to be an anti racist as they do on playing the game.

I'd rather look at my gf in real life or any number of women in real life. You're calling me gay because I don't want to stare at 3d ass?

You're one of those guys into Japanese pornographic cartoons, aren't you?

I'm done with this thread now

Only a poof wouldn't understand such a simple reason to play a female character.
