Whatever Champions of Norath does on this front is perfect

Firiona Vie is the Marilyn Monroe of late 90s/ early 00s MMORPG scene. She was on every Everquest advertisement and expansion pack cover. Whenever someone mentions Everquest, usually the first thing comes to mind is that hot blonde elven chick.

Wish they still make some games sets in Everquest world. I prefer it to Warcraft, from a worldbuilding / aesthetics point of view.

I've never played an RPG where actual high-poundage longbows firing hundreds of meters away are a factor,
Just like reality then.

in typical gameplay they're being fired at distances of 15-20 meters tops which even a weak woman is perfectly capable of.
The high poundage of the longbow is not meant for distance, it's for armor penetration. The longer the shot has to travel the more of that energy is wasted. The average woman could not even draw a 120 lbs bow. Core strength isn't there and that type of archery is entirely strength-based. To this day, I have no idea why D&D insists on keeping it dexterity-based.

Make them attractive. That's all.

In a world where you can kill a dragon with a sword, which is more dubious than taking down a fighter jet with a slingshot, because magic explains everything, giving strength penalties to female characters is silly.

I've never seen what's so exciting about digital and/or pixelated nudity, and seeing the works of modders who have never seen a real nude woman is cringeworthy. If I want boobs, I prefer real girls or pictures of real girls. So I have no need for chainmail bikinis and the likes, although I'm not against it either. I just think it looks rather silly.

From a "realism" point of view there should not be any female fighters, at least human ones. There is a reason why a good club team of 15 year old boys will beat the world champions of womens' football, for example. And females should have generally lower physical stats.
But then again, I think gameplay and fun is more important then "realism", so as long as the females are not enema lollies or toxic "women" with purple or green hair, I'm good.

I also tend to agree that this is not an unreasonable expectation? I suppose it becomes subjective around " what is attractive " ?

And I definitely dont want to see attribute penalties based on gender because as you mentioned it becomes incongruous in a world of magic and other similar fantasy realities

I assume that they considered the hand-eye coordination more important...
The thing with archery is that holding the weight of the draw with the correct posture is essential to being able to aim properly. I used to shoot selfbows as a hobby as a kid and my issue was maintaining stability in my arm as the sessions dragged on. Dexterity is only really required for fitting the arrow to the string quickly. The rest is actually intelligence-based which is judging distance, wind, arc etc.

I never understood it either. I mean, I can see they did it for more variety in gameplay with different stats / mechanics. But it feels so forced and illogical. You need good strength even for to draw & fire a 75lbs longbow for a few times. I'm not even talking about for 120lbs or 140+lbs longbows. I cringe whenever I see a skinny edgy guy who masters longbow in RPGs.

They're based on sex not gender. This is such a lazy trope. Read:

https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/25729668-on-fairy-stories

Fantasy DNE surrealism. It lets you change certain attributes that you want (fancy), not everything. Your gender-bending is (obviously) what you want.

We don't. Want something better.

maintaining stability
This is a function of STR, not INT.

You do understand that this bullshit has now resulted in the Medical Professional Organizations in charge of certifying doctors being run by people who deny that there is any inherent difference among groups *at all* and forbidding any research/canceling any doctors who claim otherwise for any purpose?

Adding to what Desiderius said, just because a setting has magic doesn't mean it can throw internal consistency out the window.

I like them humble, likeable, preferably as secondary characters and with fitting gender roles, without warrior women bullshit etc. Even better if they don't have much agenda in the plot like it was in Gothic games or KCD.
someone obviously didn't play a certain DLC.
Sexualization is not that important to me, as long as they are feminine and not purpously ugly for the sake of what some landwhale or faggot on HRT perceives as "realistic portrayal of women". But i enjoy a fine pair of titties, great ass and sweet face like most here.

And I wouldnt play RPG if there were no women because it would be so unrealistic
You didn't play Gothic? Except for two female sex slaves sent to the colony from the outside for the leader of thr Old Camp, the game is completely, unapologetically homosexual.
I did play Gothic and I loved it, I didnt realize there were no women in it. I feel bad now because I didnt notice
