I'll be surprised if it isn't an "informal announcement" of their Kickstarter project.
I will sum it up for you:I know nothing about the Wheel of Time except that it is (probably) round and the series was written by Michael Jordan. I would be willing to catch up on the novels if this game was indeed set in the same universe, but I'm lazy, and I'd rather not bother, so I'm really hoping this is a new IP and the game turns out good.
Nah, BN already confirmed it wasn't Wheel Of Time.
He also said this thread's definitely 'in the right forum', which backs up this article claiming the game's going to be a PC exclusive.
If they ARE making a Vampire RPG they need to hire prosper to write the Malkavian lines.Eir Glanfath => The Fang Lair => Vampire RPG

Gee, I wonder who slipped Kenneth that "insider information"? :D
we have an older pitch that we really like called "Defiance" which is about a fantasy world where, basically, Sauron won. Everything isn't happy in The Shire, they didn't get the ring in the fire and the hobbits are all dead.
And we actually pitched them an original IP, which was a game called Defiance. (I would love to be able to make it at some point.) The idea behind Defiance was that we kind of took the alternate [route] that intead of like, "happy Lord of the Rings land" in which the evil people get killed and the ring gets thrown into the volcano - what happens if Sauron won? So, [it was the idea of] making a whole fantasy world based off of: "What does Sauron become, and what does the world become, if Sauron won?" We had been talking about that, but it was a big-budget project. And so at that point, as we start to get into late 2008 and 2009, the "badness" occurs with the economy.
No. Just no. That system sucks.D&D 4th Edition rules, perhaps?
Hm, 4 could be something internal, as well, like "Project 4", e.g. their 4th story driven cRPG.
Although, does that make sense? I'm too lazy to look it up right now.
