Yeah, The Prophet isn't for you then. It's a very long, epic adventure, not a monty haul dungeon crawl. And it has text you have to actually read to appreciate the game. You clearly don't have the attention span for it.

I don't have the attention span necessary to slog through pointless areas, no. Because if it isn't a dungeon crawl, what is the point of all those boring, filler combat trash areas you have to slog through to get to the story?
A great ending doesn't make up for lacking gameplay. Almraiven has an open ending and so does Swordflight 2, Almraiven has almost no combat, SF2 has lots of it, but it's challenging and varied. Both are great city adventures, because they don't waste the player's time on large areas filled with trash combat. You know what's the consequence of such area design? Boring gameplay. You tried it and you decided to give up before you got to the end of the quest. What more is there to say? That's choice and consequence! You got to the elven village and thought, "I have a bad feeling about this adventure. I don't like being a prophet. Let's go on a different adventure instead." And perhaps your feeling was correct. You'll never find out why The Prophet is a masterpiece, but perhaps that's for the best.

Swordflight is tough... with the exception of one class: cleric. Healing & trickery domains, extend spell to make your buffs last longer, and you're set.I want to check out more NWN modules but not sure which one of mentioned above I should try. I REALLY enjoyed The Aielund Saga. I didn't enjoy ADWR so much, too much sexual encounters didn't help but in general I don't enjoy playing a rogue character.
Swordflight sounds intriguing but I am hesitant cause I am not good at combat, I struggled a lot with a number of fights in The Aielund Saga, especially the last boss battle.
Would you guys recommend The Prophet and Cave of Songs? The 3rd chapter of The Prophet seems to be a bit buggy based on the comment in NWN vault.
I'm guessing Honor Among Thieves is for rogue character, so this one is out.
ADwR's only reactivity is in regards to the sex scenes, that's the thing. If you like it, sure, but frankly, I'll take even BG's reputation police over the game pretending my chaotic evil psycho is a hapless damsel.Clerics are gods amongst the other, mere mortal, classes in NWN, but Swordflight is tough even with them. The shameless Prophet shilling rubs me the wrong way. Yes, it's fine, but it won't blow anyone's mind. ADwR is an odd one, it's very specific in what it wants to do and that's okay. It feels fresh, so everyone should try it.
You get a limited, but fairly large, number of free resurrections for your PCs, so I wouldn't worry that much about the hard battles. Was enough to carry me through chapter 1, and I suck at combat.Might even play Swordflight on lowest difficulty since you guys got my interested piqued up.
Sands of Fate.I could be keen for a NWN module. What's good for someone who liked HoTU?
What a silly question. But what class would you recommend, ERYFKRAD? lulz
