Hey codex, it's been a while since I gave an update on the game here. The Kickstarter was a success, so that gave me a lot more options in building the game out and in the development process. Here's what's been added to the closed beta since my last big post here:

Closed beta version 0.06

• +2 hours of content
• Faction quests! 8 quests are currently playable (ranging from a SCP Foundation expy, a bunch of cyberpunk Batmans, generic hive city gang #3, and the standard morally ambiguous mercenaries).
• All 9 companions fully implemented
• Three new hub locations (Commercial District, Dockside, Cellerdown Market)
• Fleshed out skill trees rather than static skills learned on leveling.
• Four main skill trees with 8 specialty trees and 4 more planned (magic monk, drone summoner, druggie berserker, tech Punisher knockoff)
• Various new enemies, combat encounters, battle arenas, etc
• Pets! Buy a dog or cat, or even giant mutant pugs
• Hold meetings with your companions
• New Guild Hall upgrades
• Change your/companion classes
• More that I probably forgot.

New features

Female anatomy MC is now implemented. Player appearance is not locked to anatomy.

Companions and NPCs will behave differently towards the player depending on their chosen anatomy, and this is most noticeable during sex scenes.

The background Former Courtesan can now be chosen.

Anatomy can be changed for 5,000 credits at Golgo's Augmentation shop. The ability to change your appearance has not been implemented yet, but will likely be in-game by the next update.

New engine enhancements mean better lighting and hopefully, a slight uptick to performance. I've started adding lighting to objects that need it, such as windows, store signs, lights, etc.

I feel like I have to say something about the freakish heads, with the faces crammed down on less than 1/3 of the skull at the very bottom. It's horrific and otherworldly but in an unsexy way imo. Wishlisted, think I'll buy it on release.
The length from the chin to the underside of the nose should be identical to the length from there to the brow line and from there to the hairline. It's always hard to assess how much of the head should be visible, but if you look directly towards someone it generally shouldn't be more than one of the thirds that form the face.

Well I gave the demo a go, as I needed to turn the tables after being repeatedly raped by bosses in Nioh 2.

I remember hearing somewhere that it's a deep tactical game with plot and porn, not the other way around like Subverse.
Well, the game sets it's priorities right away by starting with an animated and VOed intercourse scene.
So before you even get to character creation, you can see pixels fucking in different positions.

Char-gen seems pretty ok, several backgrounds, with different bonuses, several classes with a couple of sub-classes each.
And surprisingly large number of different organizations with conflicting interest, which is great.

Absolutely worst part of the game is controls.
I don't know what the intended platform - Switch? - but playing it with K&M does not feel good.

Well, anyways, I managed to skip the tutorial combat by skillfully talking down some thugs.
That is also a plus, as it shows importance of social skills. Sadly this also made me to see no combat at all,
as after reaching target destination and meeting my 3rd squad-member, they game just froze with me unable to move or do anything.

Hmm, thanks for the bug report. I'll add it to the list.

I should probably disable mouse control altogether, as it is, the game's not very suitable for mouse control and straight-up buggy in some places. A result of RPGMV's horrendous framework, various plugins and my own poor coding.
