Now that we have an oddly-shaped but effective regeneration machine, perhaps the outcome of these "interrogation sessions" might not be as necessarily lethal as you may expect (Rin included). Of course, only treave time will tell.
Hey look, a faction that does not hate us yet! What's more, the Adventurers reaction towards us hasn't changed in spite of recent events.
Either case, I believe that implies Brunnen will not only survive the reinforcements in one way or another, but that we'll see her again at some point in the future, be it because she has aquest favor to ask, or because she wants to check how her children are doing.
Random thoughts: It would be amusing that by associating so much with non-humans, Erdrick eventually forgot he was a human himself at some point. Although, perhaps that would be too grimdark for this setting.
Also, what if the reason the Angels are near-extinct is because most of them were female but had an extremely volatile, violent, passionate and possessive personality that was way more exaggerated than their male counterparts? And would Erdrick consider that a good thing or a bad one?
