Lets find this Lysle Rigger!
But first we pop back into the pub to buy that stuff people forgot in Queen's Row.
We don't actually get like a bag where we can loot things out of...
We're forced to try to figure out what we got by looking at the inventory. Seems like there was a light crossbow string, some Aventurine and... a second book of Dala. The book was originally over 200 gold, so I guess this was a good deal.
We head back to Darkmoor to look for Lysle Rigger. The book shop there happily pays us more than what we paid for the whole lot.
None of the houses in town seem to trigger anything new. But it seems we missed this barn the first time.
Hah, I guess Ivan had it right. Perhaps the grandma was trying to lead us astray.
Is that a staff or just a walking stick?
Are they really that identical? Maybe...
What are the chances this dude really is clueless? Pretty low...
A few months??? It's been like 2 days. Maybe the interlude between the acts was a lot lengthier than it seemed. And I thought James said they were fake Nighthawks?
Upright Man again. Maybe these two are his children or something - James was definitely raised as a mocker. Now Lysle seems like the Upright Man can order him around as well.
To be fair - Lysle does not look particularly Keshian.
You of all people? Seems like Lysle knows a lot more about James than the other way around.
A reward sounds good. Though I wonder where Lynn is - we didn't see him on the way out of the sewers.
Sucks to have divided loyalties.
Thieves Guild War - this is starting to sound like BG2.
Maybe this is why the Krondor sewers were full of large groups of rogues and rogue mages.
Mages are definitely dangerous for us. It doesn't matter how high your defense skill is if you get frozen in place.
The only glory thing I know of is the glory hole...
What is it supposed to do? Seems like carrying around skeletal hands would be a terrible experience.
So Glover is not involved.
Like you encountered a ghoul and cut off his hand?
Some shenanigans are going on near Sethanon. Wasn't the IRS quest involving someone trying to scare people with a corpse?
What a unique way to acquire a rotting hand.
I wonder if Glover would like to purchase a bridge from us.
I'm confused as to how Lysle is so famous and yet James has never heard of him.
Seems like a quick topic... why not ask now?
So how would one explain all of this? Maybe half-brothers then?
The world before cell phones was rough. You just had to hope you'd run into a person you've never met before once again.
OK, we're not too far from Krondor now, so I guess lets just see if we can get that reward. Sure enough - an encountered is triggered shortly after entering the sewers.
Don't the mockers have someone more threatening to guard the entrance?
You should know the answer to that James...
Once the thieves guild is this well entrenched its pretty tough to burn it out...
Can't say that about the job I worked at 14 years ago. I understand they've been sold twice.
Its kinda funny how all the citizen of a city unite to face an outside foe despite their normal skirmishes with each other.
Seems like Mockers in power know a little something about what James and Arutha have been up to.
If there was a way to meet with the Mockers in power. But no - Lynn is our only way to communicate with them.
Lets tell him about Lysle's adventures in Silden.
Or not get into details...
And that would be from where?
Yes he did!
Strange reward for sure.
What items are we asking about?
One would think they'd be stripped to their undies by the time the Mockers are done with them.
I guess that's a different use of the word "tumbled".
Second opportunity to buy a loot chest coming up?
Hmmm, that's steep.
Plus if they really carried something expensive - Limm could just remain quiet about it being part of the loot.
Kid could make a killing as a merchant.
Given Codex's unanimous vote on previous loot crate - we buy this one too.
Yeah - it works the same way as the one from Ivan. We have to guess from our inventory.
But first - here's our reward. Seems like it would have a very specific use.
And the items. I can see whole lot of restoratives, torches and... a note?
The story gets more complicated by the minute... Funnily enough we have such an amulet and it did not seem unique. No idea about the Idol.
