Also, that yellow underbelly
It's actually the tip of tail.

Also the whole debate is pointless. If you're trying to establish that LoL is not an RPG because that'd also make Skyrim and Oblivion and Mass Effect RPGs you're looking at this all wrong. Skyrim, Oblivion and Mass Effect are 100% RPGs, through and through. They're just different. And most of us don't like them. But our opinion about them is irrelevant when it comes to deciding if they are RPGs or not.
Well, it wasn't me who stated that skyrim should go to GG lololol!!1, which sparked this discussion.

Ok, Diablo 3 should go to GG (or MMO), because it simply lacks RPG elements that would qualify it as one, but even oblivious, despite being unambiguously shit unlike Skyrim or LoL, should go into RPGD.

Still, was it not for the charm, relying heavily on audiovisual presentation, LoL would be both a shit game and shit cRPG. Apart from stuff to see and listen to, there is almost nothing to this game.

I'm sorry about this, but given that I didn't really play many RPG's in the early to mid nineties(I was a filthy Doom player. And also had a daggerfall and MUD addiction) And instead played them in the mid 2000s. All I can see being said, is that LoL as in League of Legends is less of an RPG in Skyrim. Rather than LoL, as in Lands of Lore is less of an RPG than Skyrim.

So essentially I'm having to spend each post with the back of my mind going, "Why the fuck are these guys disscussing a dota in the single player RPG forum anyway. Oh wait there's more games with that Acronym. Hurp durp. It's one AM and this babby won't shut up. And I'm the only one with the energy to actually take care of it at night."

In both cases I'd say it's true though.

Skyrim has more choice(Macro, story level, and Micro, character level.), plot(Macro as in world based, and possibly Micro as in storyline in the game based), stats(Indisputably Skyrim has more stats than either of them.) and systems inherent to RPGs beyond just the dungeon crawling element. The one or two subareas of RPGs Lands of Lore can be said to have done better than it, are merely because they were the main focus of development. Puzzles, and even then I preferred the puzzles in Anvil of Dawn to Lands of Lore. Dungeon Design as well, even if they were just mazes, generally each one had more hidden secrets than Skyrim had in it's entirety.

Would still prefer Ultima Underworld to either of them. Bah humbug.
