Kz3rO, I have to focus really hard to distinguish the LightCyan text from the normal text color in the LULZ & Boycott category, and I may not be the only one having this problem.

Upon discovering the throwbacks available now on my touchscreen phone (like Mega Man and Tony Hawk Pro Skater...the list goes on and keeps getting longer), I struggled with not being able to feel the controls...$#!%!!

And I wanted a simple solution.

I didn't want a case in the shape of a game controller nor did I want to carry around suction-cup game pieces.

So a few friends and I have come up with GAME LEGEND!!!

Game Legend is an invisible, tactile controller that you place on your touchscreen device; so that you can feel where game controls are positioned.
what the heck?
As I understand it is a plastic film with micro reliefs corresponding to the controls displayed on the touch screen, I don't know how many games use the same control scheme.

PROJECT-X VIRTUAL REALITY, VIDEO GAME BATTLE SUIT.

Greetings Kick Starter. My name is Jamaal Bey, CEO of Bey-Technology.
What we do for video gamers is what the U.S. Military does to its soldiers in war games. They train, give them a suit, gun and throw them into battle.

Well, we @ Bey-Tech have created a virtual reality video game battle suit, we call Project-X. This suit launches the players into the game . Project-X alters your strategy and amplifies the games intensity by throwing you right into the action with battle suits vibrations.
oh yes. Game intensity. Battle vibrations. Indeed.
I thought it was about cyber sex, kwans gonna kwans, in the brown.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/drmikey/the-indie-console?ref=category
I'm developing a completely open "game console" for indie gamers and developers! It's been designed to lower the barrier of entry for tiny little game developers to get their games on a dedicated indie gaming machine. How? The console was built to run any of the most common indie game platforms, complete with an online game store and one slick shiny interface.

Already have too many devices crowded around your TV, or don't like the hardware specs? You can also just get the software and install it on your own machine!
$350 xbox killer
If it was some sort of open source console wouldn't have been a bad idea, but this guy wants to be the next Gabe, in the brown.

Oncolos provides a venue for the visualization and confrontation of cancer so you, the player, can take back your power to heal.

Game Features

* · Players: Ages 7 to adult
* · Game Type: 3D Fantasy Based Role Play Game
* · Game Style: Player vs. Environment (PvE) cooperative only
* · Game Funding: Free to Play (F2P) with online store for in-game assistance and vanity items to provide revenue
Game Elements

* · Four “races” with different innate abilities
* · Traditional RPG roles – mage, warrior, healer
* · Large open 3D world
* · Instance dungeons

The game will be strictly Player vs. Environment (PvE). There will be no dueling or player vs. player (PvP) modes. The four races will operate exclusively in a cooperative mode. However, some of the more powerful "spells" wielded in the game can have detrimental effects on the other races so elements of strategy will be required in their use. In game checks will not permit players to use these effects to "grief" the system.

In the game world the player will confront a series of different "monsters" which act as stylized representations of viruses, bacteria, and, of course, cancer cells.

The playing area will comprise the interior of various parts of the body. Like the character races and the monsters they fight, all the elements will be stylized to reduce the direct connection to the actual human body.
The way how they advertise this as a way of healing is despicable, in the brown.

I had a large and diverse body of economic data which I had collected while traveling around the world a few years earlier, and I was trying to decide how to use it. Finding lots of other data posted online and in the public domain, mostly by government and meta-government agencies (such as the UN, the OECD, etc.), I felt that an integrated, organized, curated database containing this data, open to the public for free use, might be a worthwhile pursuit. But then I remembered Ender's Game, the novel by Orson Scott Card, and it hit me: Why not embed all the data I can get my hands on in a world-economy game, where people could play the role of a leader whose actions affect the well-being of millions of others? A giant open sandbox for multilateral economic management. I’ve been working on it ever since.
Players acquire their domain in Eunomi through an auction, where they bid real-world money that will later be used to supply the periodic rewards. Once the game stabilizes, players will be able to cash-out some or all of their in-game assets through auctions.

In Eunomi, most in-game transactions are "escrowed" by the server. Once both parties to a transaction have agreed on the terms of trade, the server executes the transaction.

so, literally pay to win?

This is more costly, 300K$, they have wonderful mods to show how their game would be, mods made by other peopl for other games:

What makes Cold Fusion different from any other game?

An old west motif creates a steampunk inspired dystopic setting.
Multiple-solution format supports diverse play-styles and replay value, and multiple potential endings dependent on the players choices. These will be REAL separate endings. Not a "different color explosion" ending, and not a "which button you pushed in the last 30 seconds" ending we've seen in some recent games. Who is in your party, who lived and died in your adventure, even what items you decided to bring along will affect your end of game options.
Enemies will detect and pursue the player, confrontation is not always the best option.
All enemies are in-map. Combat is a tactical choice and there will be no random encounters. Cold Fusion is a puzzle/mystery game at its core, and random encounters would interrupt the player's thought process.
Survivalist skills of the player will be tested, poor decisions will result in real, permanent consequences to the player and their party. For example: Using a found whiskey still correctly can yield liquor, however mistakes can create poison or possibly explosions.
Leveling system is based on equipment and skills growth, not battle experience. This is to encourage the player to scavenge areas and make survival choices.
Player interactions with NPC's significantly influence gameplay. To do what it takes survive, you will need a silver tongue, fleet foot, deep pockets, or an itchy trigger. The choice is yours.
Party members are the choice of the leader, but be warned that in this harsh and lawless world, you will not be able to bring everyone with you and situations may force the player to choose between being a friend and being a survivor.

Available on all Windows OS. Sorry, no mac or console support
Classic 640x480 VGA graphics, 24-bit color

only asking for $15,000.

Drama of the day, Kickstarter canceled Tentacle Bento. an Hentai lite card game, morans litter other projects screaming censorship:
The canceled project:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1189988320/tentacle-bento-by-soda-pop-miniatures

A moron complaining in the Space Venture comments section:
I have been forced to withdraw my pledges from your project due to the way Kickstarter handled the suspension and cancellation of Board & Card Games project Tentacle Bento. Kickstarter acted on pressure generated from two misinformed articles that misrepresented the project and were done in hopes to raise page hits and enough negative feedback for the project to be cancelled. I do not feel developer Soda Pop Miniatures and their project were treated fairly. As I do not condone censorship and the way Kickstarter handled the situation by taking a stand as some kind of moral enforcer of what is parody/satire/acceptable (without consulting the project founders or backers), I am forced to back out of any ongoing and future projects hosted at Kickstarter.

Notice that according to Kickstarter terms of use this project shouldn't nave been approved in the first place, not that counts, the Ron Paul game was blatant political activism and they let it run its course.

So it's the space ventures peoples (whoever they are, looking up the project now) fault that someone couldn't get his tentacle porn fix of the day?

Dear me, these guys wanted 50K$ to make a tech demo to show to possible investors, they got 80K$ by now, an interesting comment by the developers:
@ Space Monkey - we're being very careful to ensure that this project is for the Technology Demo ONLY, and doesn't become attached to the actual MMO. We want to be absolutely clear what people are backing; a project to develop a tech demo, not a fully developed MMO

Already signaled, if you guys insist I will add the loli mecha to the list.
Could be interesting if they add movement/positional mechanics to the combat:

Additional Mechanics
While the current basic battle system is already quite interesting, we believe we should add some additional depth. At the moment, we are experimenting with a system which allows battles to take place directly in the game world, have players move their robots during battles and make terrain elevation and obstacles important in a tactical sense.
The way this works is best compared to a streamlined version of UFO: Enemy Unknown or the original Fallout, but with our game, battle scenes are randomly generated just like our dungeons.

Who cares? That thing looked awful. Kickstarter should be about cool things like Wasteland 2 and Tim Schafer and Tex Murphy.
