They probably have a communist plant in the kwa that set up a banking acct for them.

I still don't see how this is possible under kickstarters terms of service, because legally the project is from Aterdux Games.

It doesn'thave to be. Just pass unnoticed until they can move the potato to mother russia :smug:

Dr.McNinja is getting a game in his honor...although if you guys read the tier rewards it makes it look like one of those free2play BUT you have microtransactions involved in order to unlock more content.

Already signaled, not crappy enough for the brown.

Another game delivered, Sequence: A Rhythm Roleplaying Game
This one released a beta three years ago and now the website is dead, Turba: Indie music/puzzle game.
This one found a publisher instead, Resonance: Retro-Styled Adventure Game
Glorkian Warrior, a platform game with horrible graphics, still unfinished.

EDIT:
Recently funded Facebook RTS, "Starcraft in a browser".

This one's not gonna maek it but I figured I'd show it anyways because it appears to be somewhat interesting. It's called Plague and basically has you trying to spread the plague, you know, the one from the 13th century.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/peterwhite/plague
There are others with a similar concept, one is about an aerial virus, sincerely I don't see how a proper game can be made out of this, let' see.

Now another funded project, Cracked: A puzzle adventure game for touchscreen devices, the recent updates are all about their new office, funny, Takedown updates are about a new office too, gamer design 101, get a new office first.

I was pissed off at the existence of such crappy projects initially but now I don't care. As always, there will be torrents of shit with a precious gem sprinkled here and there. Crowdfunding won't change that.

It's good to look at some of those terrible projects for the lulz though.

He almost go 10K and TV coverage for this, LOL.
I will give it the brown, once again the Codex hivemind was ahead of me in singling out shit projects.

Some tabletop goodness:

Rithmomachia: Battle of the Numbers - Philosopher's Game Rithmomachia is an early European strategic board game based on the mathematic harmony principles of Anicius Manlius Severinus Boëthius. Little is known of the origin of the game with certainty, but it is assumed to have originated around 1030. It was played by monks and scholars as a teaching aid and for amusement in the courts or Europe, leading to its epithet "The Philosopher's Game".

Gype: Bringing G.K. Chesterton & H.G. Wells' Game to Life Uncle Chestnut's Table Gype is inspired by an unpublished game concept by authors G.K. Chesterton and H.G. Wells. In his Autobiography, G.K. Chesterton mentions "the well-known and widespread national game of Gype" which he and H.G. Wells invented as a joke.

World Conquerors “World Conquerors” is a fast playing board game for 1 to 4 players who use warlords from throughout history to help them take over the world. It's built around a simple but robust dice mechanic modified by the deck of conquerors' abilities. The game comes with wooden pieces, rulebook, dice, 50 cards, and a mounted map board.

Children of Fire RPG Children of Fire is a story-focused RPG where players are angels battling for human souls, straining the shackles of predetermination, and struggling with their own immortality.

Nova Cry: An Explosive Sci-Fi Card Game Not just a space combat game, NOVA CRY combines diplomacy, exploration, crew management, variable player powers, turn phases, intriguing combat choices, unique travel mechanics, and careful hand management all into one game that truly has an “epic boardgame” feel--all wrapped into a card game!

Make the Codex Great Again!
Robert Swigart's doing a remake of the 1986 game Portal. They're asking for $900K though. I've heard of the game, but beyond what I saw on Mobygames, I don't know much else about it. Anyone here played it before?

900,000$... for a game? I think they are shooting way too high on that one. Also they can't get their facts straight as Jane Jenson's KS project is not yet fully funded (in the list of successful funded games).

Also how can they use that name for a video game. Doesn't Valve own it? I'm going to call shenanigan and and just sit here and watch.

Well if Valve could use the name of a 1986 game I think that they could do the same, but 900K$ for what is basically a Graphic Adventure is outlandish, to say the least, do they want to make a movie out of it?

That guy is crazy. Absolutely no way is he going to get $900,000.

Yeah, calling bullshit on 9000,000 for a graphic adventure game. Something seems too..... odd about his. Also the trademark of Portal for use as a video game is owned by Valve (I just checked the US copyright). My (limited) knowledge of trademark for video games goes that once you trademark a name, it then goes to DEAD status after a number of years. If it is not re-newed then others can buy the rights (like Valve did). Valve only own the RIGHT to use the name Portal for a video game. Which these people cannot use without Valve's permission.

News about the Ogre table top game. First, it looks like they will, eventually, be able to ship it internationally. However, what was a hefty game has become even heftier, thanks to a whole lot of bonus goals being hit. So it probably will cost a lot. Still, people from outside of the US will be able to pledge and get the game.

Besides that, the most voted option for the last bonus goal was a computer implementation of the system. Hopefully, that means we will get an Ogre PC game, though we still run the risk of just getting an iPhone app or something.
