Codex 2012 Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. MCA Project: Eternity Divinity: Original Sin 2
I remember seeing that game years ago and thinking it was a fun shit post. I'll give it a try at some point but there's other games I want to get through first.
There's something inherently comical about seducing women by the power of match 3, nevermind the dialogue.

So I tried a bit of mirror and both hunniepop games. Meh! Bored the hell out of me. Sex scenes were pretty meh (those I unlocked) and the match 3 games just really don't change much imho.

Of the two, hunniepop is better I suppose. They could probably put some jrpg elements to it instead of just being a VN.

GOG has a New Year Sale now because why not? I guess they are combining the new lunar year with the Christian chronological new year

It's the chinese new year. They're just adjusting to the changes in near future geopolitics and power shifts before they happen. Convenient.

Then why mention irrelevant 2025 instead of the year of the snek?

Well they don't say Lunar/Chinese new year just new year 2025 on their page and they mention new year resolution the like in the US that's why I said it's a bit of both

At this point in time pirating is much more of a hassle than buying games, especially considering healthy sales are almost non stop for pc.

Not really? The various reputable repackers publish torrents right on their personal websites or on popular public trackers, no need to sign up to some sketchy Russian board.

Then there's gog games, the lack of DRM makes piracy a simple matter of downloading the installers and uploading them. And there's a website that does just that for almost every single title in the gog inventory.

The only real hassle is dealing with lag in updates but most update heavy games are either A) early access dogshit or B) multiplayer dogshit and I have exceedingly little interest in either these days.

Yes, and also go vote for Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back (not because we lack the resources to play them through other means, but c'mon, they MUST be on GOG).

They are also promoting that old Dreamlist function again to ask for games to go on GOG.
What the hell? The page is completely non-functional for me, can't click on anything, no search, no vote, no nothing. It's a conspiracy, GOG don't want to be forced to return Drakan to the people! :argh:

All power to them if they manage to pull at least one title off. The last game I was surprised and excited to see on GOG was People's General, I think, and that was already a couple of years ago.

Let me check my shit to see. Yep! I have people's general in my catalog. I'm sure there must be a general missing. 1100 pages? Oh fuck no!

Imagine if they unearth Discworld Noir eventually

I think these older licensed games are basically in limbo after the deals expired. Most of them from the 90's like Discworld games or the LoTR and Marvel games of the 2000's are basically abandonware now
