Nope.
Or I could finish FF8. Or I could not. Goddamn, it's hard. My dick, that is. My dick is so hard. I need a pretty arab boy like Cloaked Figure to make it go down if you know what I mean. Maybe I'll do a Final Fantasy Mega-thread. Those are popular. Everyone on the Codex loves the Final Fantasies. I'll be an internet superstar in no time at all. I'll be like "Hello, and welcome to Final Fantasy 1" and SHAZAM! instantly cocksucked. Yeah! That's what I'm gonna do!Or I could just play the PS1 version again. I have this idea in my head right now, that the only game I'm ever meant to lp is FF7. Fuck, I'll set up a photobucket account and start cropping avatars for Colin Farrell and Kiefer Sutherland like right the fuck away. See you all in a bit. Man, the second time's just gonna fucking fly by after that horrible first time. Oh shit, I just realized my let's play career is exactly when I lost my virginity and then I had sex for the second time and it was just so much easier. Man, I hope that's true for lps, man. Man. HELLO PHOTOBUCKET. Oh shit spoony's been holding some chick hostage in his basement. Man, I knew all that Ultima garbage would fuck him up. HELLO.

Fixed.Oh yes, Final Fantasy I & 2 - Dawn of Souls for the Gameboy Advance.
Huh. I only played the DS remake of FF3 (good enough) but I should definitely get the thumb out and pay romhacking.net a visit one of these days.FF 3 for NES (the real FF3) was return to incline (until before the trainwreck).
Meh, I've been enjoying Final Fantasy II so far. The leveling seems fine. Final Fantasy I seemed too slow and a very standard story at the beginning.

"Within our company, developing on PlayStation for Final Fantasy XIII we required a huge amount of graphical data. ... At the peak, there were over 200 people working on it.” The breakdown there was 180 artists, 30 programmers, and 36 game designers.

Maybe they fixed it for Dawn of Souls, I don't know.
The only problem I had with FF12 being random was the Quickening system. I mean getting off a good high chain Quickening combo kind of depends on your luck on getting Mist Charges without having to shuffle too many times. Never had problems with enemies chaining me to death. Just gotta be sure to keep your gear up to date and not fight enemies way out of your league and you'll be just fine. Having a shield helps a lot as well. Add in the blocking and HP augments and you become a humanoid tank.

Fighting enemies way out of your league is the fun part of RPGs. Who wants to grind worthlessly weak stuff forever?
Problem is that you can never really be sure what is supposed to be "your" league. Is it the stuff that never manages to kill anyone? That's lame to fight, you can just set gambits and go read a book. Is it the stuff that requires you to micromanage every character perfectly? That's kind of exhausting in RT for every fight. And yeah, you can make pretty much everyone invincible if you exploit the system right, but then combat as a whole becomes boring.
Quickenings are of course retarded. It basically means you don't have to fight any of the main bosses in the game if you feel like abusing your uber powers.
