This is a very typical and good display of how stupid/single-minded these people are. Gender! Color skin! Queer! Different perspectives!! The fact said stories are uninspired shit somehow don't bother them (they might even don't know what the stories in question are about).

And yet, it always ends up being the exact same retarded power fantasy where you can predict every plot development and character arc based purely on the gender! race! sexuality! of each character.

Oh look, a woke story that starts with a normal-looking White guy in a position of authority, I wonder if he's going to turn out to be evil and/or deeply deluded and must be stopped by a rainbow coalition of womynz, darkskins and trannies. Whaaat, he was, 100% of the time in every woke product ever? WHAT A TWIST!

So many different perspectives on how to shit out the exact same turd!!

One of the symptoms of this new oversexualized age is that you can't just have two guys in a story who are good friends, they have to be gay lovers.

So in BG3 you get Balduran and Ansur, or Wulbren and Barcus. For some reason it wasn't enough to leave it at friendship, they had to sneak in a gay angle in there somehow. They almost did the same to Gortash and Durge. And you can't be too friendly to your companions or they will try to bugger you.

If they made the Lord of the Rings movies today they would 100% make Frodo and Sam gay and everyone would applaud.

Don't you worry, plenty of retards still try to argue that it's '''''implied.'''''

Every male friendship is now being reinterpreted as a fag relationship today.

I watched the Stranger Things series with my kids a few months ago and never once did it cross my mind that Will Byers was a homo, but everyone certainly has made it that way now, true or not.

Lots of ukrainians in Canada. Lots of banderite descendants as well :)
A lot is an understatement half of canada is 3rd gen+ hohols and they're always on extremes. Either completely Canadian with no connection (one "ukrainian" girl like 4th generation told me I eat perogies when i said shes canadian!! Unironically) or banderites. It's same with croats & Serbs here either ustase/cetniks or pure Canadian.

Look how well DA:V turned out with so many women and minorities.

This is the target audience who eats these trash games up, never zoomers. It's crazy I have to keep reminding some people about that. Boring AAA RPGs aren't built for zoomer brain unlike *social* games or games requiring 10000 inputs per second. I can't keep up with how insane mechanics they have im a noob now.

Soup with just one piece of shit in it still soup with shit.Last game I played - today - was Underrail.
Next one - Jupiter Hell.
No homos there, only demons (wait...)
Don't play Fallout 2 because it's woke by that retarded logic.

It's absolutely different matter, which was throughly discussed like 15 years ago or so so I don't feel like repeating it.

Yes. Intent matters.

Right.
The removal of the memorial has once again highlighted Canada’s complicated legacy of resettling Ukrainian nationalists with strong ties to the Nazis.
After the war, thousands of Ukrainians moved to Canada. But possible links to the Nazis were largely overlooked as the cold war set in, Ivan Katchanovski, a political scientist at the University of Ottawa.
The group largely “escaped scrutiny” because few people realized the First Ukrainian Division was just a different name for the SS 14th Waffen Division.

Men generally want good games, gameplay and the whole package(combat, story, writing) matters for them. Women generally want feminism, women and minorities both in the games and behind the scenes.

You are correct. True friendship between two men is nowhere to be found in today's mainstream. It is sad.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
People tends to forget that in the past game developers were all socially awkward beta-omega males that lived at the margins of the society.
Paradoxically, the fact that historically "nerds conquered the world" was mainly due to their coincidental unhealthy interest in computers and computer related technologies.
Are you sure about that? Whenever I look up some interesting developer from the 80s, it turns out that there is a lot more in his biography than I would expect. Michael Cranford (Bard's Tale) went on to become a professor of philosophy. DW Bradley (Wizardry V-VII) was a musician drawn to software related to his field. Andrew Greenberg (Wizardry I-V) became an attorney. Jon Van Caneghem (Might & Magic and spinoffs) shifted from studying medicine to computer science and then became a successful CEO, similarly to Garriott (Ultima I-VII), who had an eyesight problem disallowing him to become an astronaut (albeit at a younger age). Given how they started or what they achieved, the idea they were some "beta-omega nerds living at the margins of society" does not make sense to me. It feels like game development was just another adventure for them.
I'll second your comments as I was someone who was regularly going to rpg conventions in the 80's. Most folks who had a keen interest in computers were pretty regular folks. Game developers didn't live on the fringes. They were programmed, were married, played pnp D&D, and had regular hobbies outside of computers. They were much more rounded than most folks today. They didn't have the internet to waste every waking moment. Where did this "fringes of society" assessment come from? Movies?

The Hollywood depiction of them was always the same: the socially awkward etc... But the Hollywood depiction of scientists, accountants, waitresses, etc were all the same as well.

The bonds that WWI vetetrans like Tolkien formed in the trenches with their comrades is inconceivable to these limp-wristed keyboard warriors on Twitter.

As much as they yammer on about cultural relativism and 'perspective' they fail to realize the limited scope of their own views. Gender and sex problems are suddenly paramount not only for everyone else in the world right now, but everyone else across time and space, past and future, and even beyond reality in fictional fantasy worlds like Middle-Earth and Thedas.

I think current people are more likely to scram about "racist" remarks about thinning old blood by intermixing and how that caused degeneration of High men. And few other stuff that's currently called racist or sexist.

Technically his book had three genders. Man. Woman. Hobbit. And the common question was what these fucks are doing on battlefield, when they saw hobbits.

It's particularly funny when you consider how utterly predictable those supposedly 'diverse' characters end up being.

Concord, Dustborn and South of Midnight all have angry looking 'diverse' characters. Aside from being straight up ugly, they're written to be petulant, grating, arrogant, narcissistic and extremely selfish.

Hallmark of female "writing".
Hallmark of people who never have had a real friend.

I'm 10 hours in, and overall, it’s not bad. The combat is more fun than I expected, and the environments are varied and looks good to look at. The weakest point is the writing, especially the cringe-worthy flirting options. The dialogue doesn’t feel like grown men and women talking, it’s more like teenagers in a generic anime.

Also I’ve realized that most reviewers don’t know how to play for shit. The idea that enemies are sponges isn’t accurate. The tutorial clearly shows you should use the Primer + Detonation combo, then fill up the stagger meter to deal high damage and charge your ultimate, which does ridiculous damage, I haven't met spongey bosses and I even took down level 25 boss while I was lv10.
Nice troll.

You are trolling though, right?

In other words - entitled little pricks that claim they have the right to be that way because they're VICTIMS.

It's not that they are "written" that way, they are that way irl. Those traits are intrinsic to these kinds of people. They go hand in hand. I don't think most people realize that.

I have a gay relative and he is the same way. Narcissistic prick. The Bible describes them as having a lack of "charity". They can't be fixed, just burned to stubble as God shows at Sodom & Gomorrah.

When a fag starts wanting cock, his brain breaks in a lot of other ways too.

Bioware games are definitely over-written. Ten lines of boring dialogue to deliver what could be said in one. I am constantly wishing I had a "didn't ask" button. In ME2 the non-combat sections drag on for so long because of this, that by the time I get back to the combat missions I forget the controls.

"Well you can skip the dialogue if it bores you so much!!"

Two reasons why I can't:

1. The same button that skips dialogue will also select the default response that I probably don't want to select after the last line of dialogue is skipped. :x
2. There is valuable information in these dialogues, it's just spread too thin amidst endless yapping.

Brevity is the soul of wit, and as we all know, Bioware was competent but witless. Until it stopped being competent.

Reddit is discussing what Gaider meant by these tweets, now that the game is out everybody hates it.
Gaider's opinion is worth shit.

He called Dragon Age fans "fucking tourists" when they disliked how horrible Taash's character was (which is objectively atrocious - in terms of language used - even by our modern standards, nevermind compared to a supposedly mature medieval fantasy this game claimed to be the part of). A good writer would recognize that as a valid criticism.

He also called the critics of the character creator "incels" for not being able to make characters with big butts or breasts. Which is funny, because right after that comment a woman wrote in reply to him that she can't make a female character with her own D-cup size. But it must be incels who criticize the inability to make beings that aren't skinny/flat, right? Again, this shows how far he departed from reality.

Too much focus on story stuff and the romance shit added in BG2 which has stuck ever since...
