Having arbitrary standards of pseudosimulation when it comes to enchanted items is the kind of nonsense that makes me believe these jokers will never make a great game. ;)

I don't know about great games, but these jokers have already made 2 games at least on par with anything Obsidian has ever made.

Yeah, I've tried that, doesn't work (we have a good firewall, it seems). Only UltraSurf was able to pierce through, but I don't want to use that.
No biggie, will read these later at home.

What about using TOR browser? You don't even have to install it, just download the zipped package. Usually works when you are behind a firewall without many website permissions.

He should have shown the dialogs with the AI in command, very few people will enjoy LARPing both characters and just want a Baldur'sGate/MassEffect-like kind of companion...

Still, great update! I especially liked that they fixed the thing with naming NPCs, now all entries being added to a poll where the game will randomly pick one. Luckily Divinity already has a funny tone, so I doubt that battling skeleton Bob it will break anyones IMMERSHUM.

I don't really understand how this order thing works. Well, I'd rather up my pledge by 15$ and also get a copy of Dragon Commander, anyway...

Nice video, but i think they should have maintained visual cohesiveness throughout the UI... take for example the container he opens at the start of the video, very much going for the Ultima vibe, then the player inventory goes in the opposite direction with a clean modern grid look. Why not use that "backpack" style of the first container for the inventory management as with Ultima 7?

If they are going old school, then they should go all the way. :)

Just a nitpick, overall great gameplay video.

I think Sven has mentioned that "UI is WiP" at least twice during the video.

Ah, was watching it without sound, as i'm watching PSG - Barcelona on the TV. Hope they change a few things then.

I'm very curious how contempt, skepticism, faith and all that factor in. What results? Does it influence magic? Does it influence social skills or quests?

Zombie Jake is already a recurring character.

Odds are, if you aren't putting backpacks into your backpack, you're doing something very wrong :rpgcodex:

In divinity 1 I had all my armor in a book inside of my backpack, along with my bed and a barrel as big as me.

It was neat.

Odds are I am a terrible slob IRL and do not see why I should become a neat freak during my leisure time. Also I have repeatedly lost vital plot items to the Bottomless Chaos that was my pack during U7.

I'm getting anxious from remembering all the fucking pixel hunting and constantly clicking. Fuck I hate repetitive and drawn-out dextrous processes.

Ultima really was ahead of its time, it did the Xzibit meme before Xzibit was even a thing.
