The problem is that they finish their kickstarter just before the "pledge sweet spot" of the day. That's a pity.

Maybe they should do a video about the last stretch goal so people get hyped abit for it?
But the again its going to be hard to get to 1 000k in 8 hours or so.

This kickstarter should have lasted for 6 more hours to really get the americans in for the last push..
But I am still very happy about how this kickstarter has taken off :)

Yeah it could use some last minute "fever". A 900k small stretchgoal would have helped here. (Kirril gets to use Mike Patton with his orchestra!) Also an update vid really selling the day night cycle would have helped. But damn if they didn't work their asses of these last weeks.

I don't think this interview has been linked here before. At least I did a cursory search with the youtube URL. Watching it now, it's pretty informative about Larian's history and their struggle with publishers. I think Swen is much more expressive in his native tongue (But I'm struggling to understand without subtitles, you can turn them on for English though).

Edit: Codex mention near the end where he talks about what makes an RPG. Also refers to the coming of Gragt to their studios. The video is a month old, but I think it raises minor points and facts that haven't been addressed in any other video I've seen. It's quite a good video overall.

His native tongue is NOT French. But I see what you mean, it's funny how he doesn't talk the same way at all. It feels a lot more personal.

I wasn't 100% on that. What is his native tongue? Norwegian? Swedish? Dutch? His accent wasn't right to me, but hey, I've not been exposed to many Belgians

I just hope they get enough sleep after this.

Monday is just a normal working day :) But at least Swen and I won't be working during weekends, so there is that.

And indeed, most of us here speak Dutch, as does Swen. His girlfriend speaks French though.

We have a couple of French speaking people here (from France and from the French speaking part of Belgium). We used to have lots of Germans working here, and Kirill obviously speaks Russian. We had an Italian as well at one point, and there's interns from all over, so we generally communicate in English. Larian English, that is. When I came here, my English was better ;)

take kickstarter total, and add paypall and watch/codex fundraisers.

Also it says so in the last update.

Even if they don't quite reach one million today, two weeks more of Paypal ought to close the gap.

There's still paypal etc. after the campaign ends, right? Including Codex and Watch funds.

And even if it ends up a few k short of the goal, I'm confident Larian are gonna be cool about it and implement the features anyway.

It's kind of a brilliant reversal - when this campaign started people were doubtful it would reach any stretch goals and look at where we are now.
