It's kind of a brilliant reversal - when this campaign started people were doubtful it would reach any stretch goals and look at where we are now.
For once, we can thank the unwashed masses following their mainstream gaming media overlords for actually contributing to something worthwhile.

Also, Larian for doing a stupendous job on their KS campaign.

Yeah, it's a weird feeling to realize that I have some joy in part thanks to creatures like totalbald, angryspic, or even sites like kotaku.

I spent good part of the morning thinking how I could raise my pledge, since I'm kinda broken.
Finally I bite the pillow and did something I didn't do in 15 years: borrowed money from my mother, with all the shame attached.
Then I went to the bank to deposit those precious money and be sure they stay there till the billintg time.

15 more eurogoldcoins incoming, now you HAVE to make 1M.

You've begged for money but you haven't stolen money yet. You didn't do enough for Larian, I'm disappoint.

I don't think this preview has been linked to before:

That one is actually pretty entertaining. And, in between the previewer shenanigans, you get some more informations about quests you might have seen in other previews. So, there's this guy Jake, who has been murdered, probably by his wife who is involved with a nobleman. But, apparently, the murdered guy also left his tomb and is now probably one of the undead plaguing the town, etc.
This kind of "spiderwebs" branching quests are really what's missing from modern-day rpgs. And it looks like Larian are gonna do a great job with them.
So, once gain, massive :bro: to our new dialogue-driven overlords !
Good luck, ForkTong & co for the last hours !

Actually I accepted a bribe (at work) in order to pledge on Larian Kickstarter. And I never do those things. I know it is not stealing but is as close as I can get to it.

I'm from Italy. Here every cash you handle is stolen from somewhere else.

Yeah, Italy has been in a constant decline since before the fall of the Western Roman Empire.

When I tried to convince my friend to pledge and he asked me "So is it Diablo-like Skyrim with XCOM-like combat?", I said YES. :( And that made him pledge anyway.

I'll tell him the truth 5 hours later. ;)

Who knows, perhaps playing something with actual c&c, with proper reactivity and great TB combat, might have a lot of them realize how shallow and tasteless the mainstream grub actually is. I have no doubt that for a whole generation, many of the possibilities offered in this game will seem like new and innovative, simply because they haven't been exposed to this type of gameplay at all.

Now that's a marketing blurb that belongs on the box.
It ain't called Original Sin for nothing.

But stealing wasn't the original sin. It was eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. So you're totally wrong. It was because of Eve that stole the... OH SHI-!
