Don't go down this road, Dalek! It only leads to heartbreak and misery!

Discover the mystery behind Delilah in this stand-alone chapter, and then conclude Daud’s story in the upcoming final add-on, The Brigmore Witches.

Aaaaand after that, we might get mod tools.

But but but if you care enough to see how that stuff played out then you didn't think it was shit.

If you say so then. I'm not going to argue whether I thought a game was shit or not with someone who isn't me. As I said, you're free to believe whatever you feel like. Doesn't change the fact that I thought Dishonored was shit.

I won't argue further either, but I'll make sure to keep it in mind that games you call shit are ones you care about the story of and play all the way through multiple times.

Although I see it now, I do have to wonder if it will get the good old regional cockblock like the last DLC, Dunwall City Trials.

Nothing's going to change on that front because of the horrible distribution deal Bethesda made with 1C for Eastern Europe and Russia.

Not worth playing because the story is shit,

Story is pretty thin like an action game's should be. Setting is pretty fucking awesome though.

gameplay is shit, sneaking is shit,

How? Other than being too easy, name a reason or two.

level design is shit.

Couldn't disagree more. Very smart level design made to facilitate sneaking and multiple paths. The fact it is too easy to navigate effectively is tied in with the same complaint, but that's more a problem rooted in the game's main flaw: blinking. Blink is what makes the game too easy.
Story seems decent enough in my book so far. Plus the voice cast is top notch.

Gameplay and sneaking are shit however. I'm thinking of making another save with a killer type because non-violent is boring as balls. I use two skills, well one really - blink. And choke people. And sneaking consists of running up pipes and shit. I can't see any kind of sneak mechanic in this game.

I just abducted Sokolov or whatever, and it's starting to get samey. Plus areas are fairly tiny.

It runs well though and I like the victorian era inspired English influences. I'm sort of wanting to compare this to Arkham Asylym, which does pretty much everything better and as a bonus is in third person.

Started playing it recently. Actually find myself liking it quite much! Although the ripping off inspiration in a lot of aspects of the game of bioshock is beyond obvious.

It's pretty much Thief + Bioshock + Modern Gaming = Dishonored.

Ok did up to Campbell mission RAMBONE style. It's a lot more interesting. Ratswarm is pretty mean, and creepy on guard dogs. :(
Still, it's a pretty shallow game and I'm bored already. That said, it's more reactive than garbage like Alpha Protocol where you have two choices and the ending's the same every time. More or less. Surprised you couldn't actually kill everyone in Dishonored though. Crossbow Martin? Oh. CRITICAL MISSION FAILURE GAMU OVER.

Watching some Hitman Absolution trailers and looks like a more interesting game overall with more interesting stealth, if easy as dicks. Maybe I'll pick it up since they're out of waffle irons I was supposed to buy.

EDIT: oh one awesome thing about Dishonored I forgot. Ability to disable head bopping. HOLY SHIT. Why can't every single FPS have that I do not know.

Isn't that kill animation at the end of the trailer exactly the same as the end of Dishonored original campaign? Knife through arm > killed with own gun.

Looks like more of the same. Which would be welcome if dishonored was a good game.

I actually think their insistence on sticking with the Imperial system while almost everyone else is using the metric system is much, much worse.

The only way to play Dishonored is sneaking without using any power and ghosting or going on a murder spree abusing the powers, trying to go sneaking using the powers could be a boring, easy as fuck experience. While sneaking, by avoiding the powers and ghosting, half of the problems are ignored, there still the problems of the small levels,of you automaticaly walking silently, looking around the corners don't reveal your position, there isn't enough gadgets for a improved ghosting playthrough, lack of interesting scenario manipulation (water arrows and etc.), the story is barebones but they tried to add drama anyway, the outsider is a douche and the game is short. For a Deus Ex/Thief popamole wannabe it is decent, but between Dishonored 2 and Thi4f, I'm going to trust Arkane more.

Maaaaaaaaaaaan. Picked up the city trials DLC today 'cause I figured what the hell, and I'm actually kinda enjoying it. It's your usual simple score attack mode shit, but things like the horde mode are sort of fun. Dishonored is ridiculously easy in the campaign, but getting a small arena with new enemies constantly popping in to slaughter is enjoyable.

On top of that, after I've looked back on it I almost think I put Dishonored ahead of DXHR and Bioshock Infinite. They're all pretty flawed games, but out of the three I think Dishonored pissed me off the least. Infinite loses points for being less ambitious than the other two, and DXHR loses points because the gameplay started annoying me as I progressed (Was going stealth and non-lethal at first. By the end I said fuck it was shooting everybody). Dishonored was easy and the story was kind of a letdown, but I never got sick of the game really. Infinite had more of a challenge than Dishonored, but encounters largely boiled down to hiding and popping moles. Dishonored was a little more varied.

Seems so weird a game I was so disappointed over actually stacks up a bit better than DXHR and Bioshock Infinite, which seemingly disappointed me less. Also like I bitched about earlier I wish the game didn't try to tempt you into non-lethal runs and let you go full ridiculous supernatural assassin. Which may be why I like this dumb DLC since I can be a murder machine with impunity and the game isn't silently judging me.
