Hmmm, past time I tried this, I think I'll acquire it.
The big problem for me was that levels didn't get sufficiently large and complex until the last 2 stages, and level design itself got smart enough to make Blink less powerful and much more limited (i.e. providing lots of cover but not letting you transition between rooms without exposing yourself). Also, since levels are designed with Blink in mind there are few true alternatives to not using it, other than maybe throwing objects as distractions. Without Blink you are left with very bare-bones and basic stealth, which really should have been augmented with light and shadow mechanics.

I'm doing a total non-lethal, ghost and no powers run of this right now. Not really for the achievements, which no one care's about, but more just for fun. I have to say, it really shows some of the game's faults.
So you are one of these who gimped his enjoyment from playing game about assassin by not killing anyone... Are you sure you wanted to play this game?
Yeah, all the interesting gadgets are for a lethal playthrough. I think that Dark Messiah is better, because enemies could kill you very fast on the hardest difficulty and there wasn't loads of instant health potions, and the only overpowered power you had was the power of the boot(at least from what I remember), Dishonored is a walk in the park in comparison. In retrospective after completing Dishonored I find playing it as a stealth game quite pointless. AI is simply braindead and broken and you are given the ultimate joke-spell which makes it even easier. Dishonored is much better FPP melee game than stealth, same as Dark Messiah. They both have excellent and creative ways to use physics in melee combat and their stealth mechanics suck terribly.
Playing it as Nightcrawler is way more fun and the existence of blink is somewhat justifiable.
I wasn't shy to kill people and I finished it on low chaos ending. Not being jerk helps a lot.

We thought medieval Japan was not good for us because we do not know this culture.
Protagonist Ding Dong gets a bannu for his shamefur dispray at the emperor's court and must clear his name by walking the rine between good and evil?Working Title: Shamefur Dispray
Sure, why not?I would love a stealth game set in medieval Japan.
Apart from coding AI, balancing awesome buttons and some decisions regarding lighting and texturing I'd actually consider them pretty smart. Also yeah, folks at Arkane are far from being stupid.
One that would be capable of reading comprehension. What AI?
A person better versed in English, would know I implied there is no AI in the Dishonored. Should I assume it's too difficult for you?One that would be capable of reading comprehension.

What Dishonored 2?I really hope Dishonored 2 is set somewhere else...
