Elhoim Vault Dweller i have experienced a bug in battle where turn won't properly end. his happened several time once in hydroponics once in armory, both against froggos. very annoying.

The "big" faction content is really short, you get 2 really short quests in either habitat, one side-quest, one mandatory to speak to the faction leader. (I think protectors get 4) after which there is a decision to make with which faction you ally and after that there is just one more faction decision, keep the chosen faction or go with the fourth. Thats it.

Yes ,the dialogue structure is retarded.
In the beginning i was just exploring and did some quests,then talked to the negro priest 1,he send me to do some quests and then he had another. The dialogue went:
You are chad for doing the first quest,there was some random guy that have a problem,you should help him.
I helped him.

I still have no idea who that guy i helped was or what he needed help with or if i did solve the quest in the right way lol.
Also for the main pit quest,the writing is dog shit. You have no idea who is what or for what he is fighting for. You have a first thug that founded the camp,you have a new mil thug and you have a mystery wench thug that comes out of nowhere in mid quest line. Have zero world build up. Also a lot of disconnection between quests.

Game assumes you understand the setting, when in character you should, because you have lived in the pit for years. One of brothel guy's henchmen is even your childhood friend. But you the player doesn't know anything, so you just stumble into things not knowing context.
The game works when that ignorance makes sense, like you wouldn't know anything about mind worms or hydroponics because they don't exist in the pit. But it's very jarring when you start in your character's home town so clueless.

Might be misremembering, but the descriptive text says Samuel grew up in the pit and Evans mentions the player as "our" people, so the player is isn't some kind of expatriate.
Yeah I only reached that fourth faction recently but immediately decided "Yup, they should get the device and no-one else." They're the only logical choice because they're the only ones who actually care about arriving safely on the planet.
Not in the beginning, if you do the quest between brothel guy and Regulators, you are locked in as soon as you accept a quest from one of them.
Yes in the Habitat, you can play all the sides and the only real final decision is when you tell one of the factions that you'd like their help in retrieving the device. Up until that point you can juggle their conflict in whichever way you like, become a double or even triple agent, collect as much information as possible, and finally make an informed choice which faction to trust after hearing all of their stories and uncovering their schemes.

He is not. Just doesn't mean they were friends as children coz dialogue is fairly cold with everyone. Tbh I didn't even think about the angle of growing up in the pit. Since kids are rarely there in rpgs, you sometimes forget they even exist

LoL,sooo i met some dumb bitch in the nazi larpers place,she wants me to steal some secret mil plant for an attack and offers to give me the key and access to it. Well..... more then 10 hours in. Its certainly better then Insomnia Lost Ark (both have very similar atmosphere) and about the same level as Encased which is not great not terrible. But I expected A LOT more after AoD. Both writing and combat wise.

It's also a forced stealth quest and stealth gameplay is infuriating. You need to pay a 2 or 3 points feat tax just to make stealth viable for the 2 (optional) missions in the game where it is needed and it doesn't even let you savescum through the stealth missions.

I found it more infuriating that I had stealth on oe Faythe but the other skills (all of them, hight int) on my main. Sure I could use her effectively in the stealth sections but I couldn't do anything with her in them.

Given the current trajectory of the West and the US in particular, I like to think the devs are secretly based AF and realize that in order for the Colony Ship to have become totally dysgenic, dysfunctional, and failing it would simply need to mimic current year racial trends in the US.
