If their OST is fully original, they can sell that. Most - if not all - of the songs are rearrangements of the songs from past games. I'm not sure if they can get away with that.

Judging from their latest newspost, it's not a great concern to them.

Three days ago The Chronicles Of Myrtana was released, and we have to admit that we didn't expect for a moment such a response and such a good reception! At the time of writing this post, the rating on Steam is "overwhelmingly positive" (98%) with almost 1400 votes, and at its peak the game was played by almost 10,000 people (on Steam alone).

We are also proud to announce that we have been nominated for the prestigious 'Mod of the Year 2021' award on the Moddb platform and are currently second among the most popular mods! We would also like to thank all the people who were in any way involved in the creation of The Chronicles of Myrtana. This project would never see the light if not for the commitment and dedication of dozens of people, who often have never even been involved in modding. If we were to list everyone here, this post would go on forever, but we are grateful for all the help and good words we have received along the way.

At the same time, we are aware of the problems that some of you have encountered. We are currently working on fixing all the bugs you send us. The smaller ones have been fixed in minor patches, but a bigger patch should be released in the near future. Rest assured, though, that you will be able to continue the game regardless.

None of the team members receive any remuneration for working on the modification. Make sure you're standing directly in front of the chest and keep lmb/action key held down. You can interrupt the animation quite easily.

Strange things happen in Silbach: When I returned from another exploration tour to the woods, that young retard you have to save from wolves in one quest - what was his name again? - suddenly lay dead at the gate where he used to hang around. Another time a dead farmer lay right at the entry of the inn. Is stuff like this supposed to happen? I don't suppose the little brat is of any importance after that one quest but it's still a bit unsettling if they drop like flies...

didn't happen in my playthough, but the retard was killable, and sometimes forest creatures come close to gate so maybe that happened?
Most likely a bug I believe - feel free to inform the devs.

Probably creatures got spawned and he got killed, i think every morning there is large chance that they spawn. Probably one of those random events

they should just kickstart a sequel, only charges 5-10% and so far they've got probably 20,000+ unique players across all their platforms that love their game. they could make more than most indies

There's a chance to get +5 extraction in the Araxos gold mine, but I haven't found any other teachers.

You get the beer in town. Sorry, I forgot it required something from the city. Don't think you can learn to take any more trophies until you get into the city.

They've fixed most of the old cheese tactics with specific enemies which is pretty neat.

Trolls turn too fast to use the old circle strafe trick, zombies no longer recoil every time you hit them etc.

Yeah, shadowbeasts are just about the deadliest thing in the game now that they can't be stunlocked. And the bestiary books you read actually tell you which enemies have stagger immunity, it's not just some random thing.
