The Rainbow never came
We're not clear out of the woods yet, the rain didn't stop on the final drive of the first half...

01.jpg

I made a mistake here thinking it was the second half. A mistake that I would pay dearly for...

02.jpg

Gondolin, gets KO'ed again. :decline:

03.jpg

Werewolf going for a free blitz.

04.jpg

GAAAARMMMMMM

05.jpg

Out with a badly hurt. We have no more catchers.

Looks unwinnable at this rate.

Wet and Wounded

Not looking good for Knights at this rate...

01.jpg

Too many injured for second half, they're kicking. The Banned has NO injuries.

02.jpg

Need to get this kick just on the line. Make that pick up extra risky...

03.jpg

Let's go, Angelo!

04.jpg

And still the rain won't stop. Motherfuckers.

05.jpg

Perfect kick though...

Whitewolf gets pushed back. As LundB and Hellraiser drops on the LoS.

Ghoul going for the ball...

I'd love some tips in beating a Necro team like this. It seems their claw wolves are really really solid players that are hard to take down when Blodged up.

That Ray of Hope - Washed away

BIG chance here. If Knights can grab the ball, Necro would have to double back.

02.jpg

Moving Angelo left...

01.jpg

Xeno will clear a path.

03.jpg

Clear. Lets go!

04.jpg

Let's do this, Gondolin!

The thing with wolves is that they don't regen and their armor isn't super-tough. Plus necro can't apo them. They're also SPP magnets. So if you can isolate and mutilate the doggies, you'll nuke the majority of their TV. Really smart necro players take every oppertunity they can get to get some skills on their flesh golems and zombos to avoid a dead puppy demolishing their team.

Could've sworn Wolves have Regeneration, Claw and Frenzy at start.

Mebbe. They didn't in LRB4, which is the edition I played religiously for years. I tend to mix d&d 3.5 and pathfinder rules up too because theyr'e so similar. :P
If wolves did indeed get regen, then it's an obscene buff to necro. Especially coupled with the fact that niggling injuries aren't automatic sacking anymore.

I have newfound respect for this necro team. Seriously, at the start, it isn't that good, but take some block here and there, and they didn't even need doubles to make it there.
Not uber strong, but solid in mid TV rating.

Not much to do

01.jpg

Wasted that big break, now just eat a blitz and be done with it.

02.jpg

Yeah, stunned too. Should've just abandoned this match on turn one.

03.jpg

Double skull on one of them, but a non-loner reroll got it done right for the Banned.

04.jpg

They got the ball now.

05.jpg

Can we actually make a play for the ball?

06.jpg

Meh, whatever.

07.jpg

Yeah, reroll.

08.jpg

Just a push.

09.jpg

Not a lot of things going our way so far.

10.jpg

Shifting Whitewolf. Dodged out, no problem.

11.jpg

Angelo...

12.jpg

Fucks it up.

13.jpg

Knights are not really playing well at the moment.

How do you make human pie? Just add water.

01.jpg

LundB drops, as expected.

02.jpg

The Blitzing werewolf still has enough MA to mark Whitewolf. Too OP'ed.

03.jpg

I'm amazed Whitewolf is still on the field. Now they're double teaming him.

Elsewhere, Xeno survived a few attempts on his life.
04.jpg

05.jpg

06.jpg

07.jpg

There's nothing I can add to this situation. I'm being bashed left and right and all I can hope for is no serious injury occurring.

08.jpg

Path is open for the ghoul carrier.

Our turn.
09.jpg

Whitewolf didn't give a shit, dodged out and blitzed.

10.jpg

Brought that carrier down. I'm smiling a bit. But not optimistic. I know we're beaten, but making a good fight out of it.

11.jpg

Stuns but failed to catch the loose ball.

12.jpg

More beat down, let's go.

13.jpg

Goddamn it, Ricky. Reroll.

15.jpg

KO! Good good. End Turn.

01.jpg

Xeno gets stunned by a Golem.

02.jpg

eklektyk, just taking it over and over.

03.jpg

A blitz on Whitewolf!

04.jpg

Stuns him.

05.jpg

They're cleared the ball zone...pushing Ricky away.

06.jpg

Their ghoul dodges out to get the ball...

07.jpg

Hellraiser said, 'Nope' and clocks the little bitch down.

08.jpg

It's dead, Jim.

Werewolves DO regen.

I wish I could offer some profound insight, but the key to beating Necro is simply taking out the wolves... obvious, I know :/

Another Necro weakness is that they're forced to play a weird running game, where all their players have difficulty catching up with each other. If they form a cage, don't break it, just tie up the flesh golems and fight elsewhere, forcing him to break his own cage. If he forms a screen, things are a little more difficult, but a screen also makes it easier to hunt down his blitzing wolves.

PROTECT YOUR KEY PLAYERS. Make sure your important pieces are in your backline, so that if he blitzes them with wolves, you'll have an evil block + foul on that wolf.

That's sortta all the advice I have.

Thanks Grunker, I'm really glad this is not a crucial match. It's very, very tough to break down a well developed necro team.
