'cause it's true. Microsoft's growth strategy is no longer bound to outmoded sales numbers. They want growth in a big way, and Azure, Gamepass etc. is delivering that.

'cause it's true. Microsoft's growth strategy is no longer bound to outmoded sales numbers. They want growth in a big way, and Azure, Gamepass etc. is delivering that.

In the future, this will be their plan. They are still not profitable enough to rely on it entirely. They wouldn't have gone multi platform if this was the case. There have been reports that they are far away from what they want to make on Gamepass.

Orlans in the original games looked nothing like that, they had more cat features. You can look through Orland portraits if you want. Avoid just decided to add more bestiality into the game because troons, groids, pronouns, fags just were not degenerate enough. They had to raise the bar in order to compete with horrors of failguard.

Even comparing to other Gamepass titles, it doesn't look good. Starfield had like 300k+ peak on Steam, despite being on Gamepass too.

I liked Obsidian, but they haven't put out anything worthwhile in years. I don't care if the studio lives or dies. They are dead to me, either way.

The only justification to explore this game is to gather negative examples. And that's not something I would be paying for. It wouldn't surprise me if Tim Cain's video on how not to make an RPG was at least partly directed at Avowed.
