That is Antarctica. Have I ever told you guys about the Antarctica treaty and how it's suspicious that a supposedly empty ice wasteland is so heavily guarded to the point that they will shoot down your boat if you try to go there without the permission of one of their science permission passes?

And why do we require that land mass for all of these scientific research projects? Last time I checked there are plenty of cold places on earth that are cheaper to access, and we do have the technology to make things cold without spending millions on upkeep for a couple scientists to isolate from general society for months at a time. Not all of these projects are dedicated to fossil recovery and geology.

The combination of Antarctica and the BRITAGH with the union jack leads me to believe that this is connected to the fomorion discovery that secretly occurred during the year 1912.. The volcano acting like a funnel to release the under ground beasts that have been contained by the ice for millennium.

The UK would be the natural inheritors of the problem, being natural racial enemies with the fomors and having been the world leaders in the project of locking down Antarctica.

1912 referring to the Antarctic Terra Nova expedition that took place between 1910 and 1913? What did they discover during 1912?

Why were the British, in 1912 so keen on competing with the Norwegian team to reach the center of Antarctica marked in this image with a question mark? Why 191219 instead of 191217 which is the day they reached their goal? What happened 2 days after they found the center? Why did they die on the return journey and did they die on the 17th day of 1912? Why did the government provide grants for a private venture and not strongly follow up when it all went wrong? How do 5 people all die at the same time in a place that is non habitable?

As for the name Darkened_Ra1n and the mysterious phrase "Dark. Unapologetic. Twisted."

What can this mean? Clearly Dark refers to rain due to the name. Enough rain to darken the sky. AKA a storm. Did you know that in Celtic Mythology, the same divine hag that is responsible for storms is also responsible for... landscapes and winter? The place on earth known for its winter. Unexplored landscape. Prominent mountain in the middle never been reached. What connection towards Cailleach are you trying to draw with this image and in which way is she responsible for the failed British expedition in 1912?

Unapologetic? What better way is there is describe a storm, further strengthening the connection to Cailleach. natural phenomenon are the most unapologetic force that can destroy or harm humans. Animals, wars, etc all would have some characteristics of hesitation but a storm does what it does regardless of whether it effects anybody or not. A storm does what it does regardless of consequences or results. Unapologetic

Twisted. An image of Antarctica, due to the Larsen ice shelf clearly looks like the land has been twisted in one direction causing its unique shape. A tornado would fall under Cailleach.

Cailleach is credited as the Queen of winter, very fitting for Antarctica, and is said to carry a hammer for shaping the mountains and landscapes that she is responsible for creating... and what do we see in the center of the image provided with a large question mark? A mountain.

It is said that Cailleach's ultimate goal is to prolong winter forever. What is the location on earth in which winter has been prolonged? We know it wasn't always winter due to fossil records of non-winter animals living there.

Is this post warning us about an impending storm?

Let us now analyze the tags of the post. Why "Choices matter"?

Are you telling us that we can do something to stop this? Or will we only be given a choice of how to react after the fact? The tag "crpg" leads me to believe the first option. What is a crpg? An adventure usually centered around saving the world, a group of people coming together to stop evil forces? Was this post a warning of the inevitable, or a call to action?

As for the "NOIR" tag. Is this also a clue of what type of adventure we can expect? A genre featuring disturbing themes and hardboiled detectives. Are you telling us to investigate further and to expect obstacles?

Joined October 7... A coincidence or another clue? Must be a red herring. Your name is Darkened_Ra1n. Why the 1? because the name you needed to use for this post was extremely important but was already taken. replacing I's with 1's is common internet practice. Looking up your original account, Darkened Rain, shows that it was actually created September 29th but for unknown reasons you were unable to make this post back then. The date October 7th can not have significance to this case since it should have originally been made a week prior.

The real question is why did you wait another week and 1 day to try again when the clues lead us to believe that this is of the utmost importance? The image was only uploaded 18 hours ago so you couldn't have been prepared to make this post over a week ago.

What happened one week ago and what happened on the 19th day of 1912?

This clue leads us to believe that the account name you chose is just as important as the contents of the post

Did you make an alt just to kickstart an ARG for your indie game?
