Well, Im a fan of PoE but with this MCA news I went from blink of an eye to depends on the pitch. Losing MCA sucks.

A better poll would be whether folks are at denial, anger, bargaining, depression or acceptance at this point.

It's just unbelievable that they managed to fuck it up. Own IP, hungry as fuck fanbase who've been starved for this type of game for years. And the writing is just horrid. The setting so generic, the names so unrememberable. Combat predictable and static. Stretchgoals half assed... What an oppertunity wasted.

I'd pledge, but the absolute minimum to get a digital version. BG1's mediocrity lead to some great things, and while PoE was marginally better than BG1 IMO, it looks like it won't lead to anything ambitious.

It all really depends to me if they acknowledge some of the flaws that hold PoE back from being great. One of those flaws was a lack of MCA, so that's not going to get fixed, but they can still convince me on the other stuff.

Nothing good would come out of it. I can see all types of SJW being triggered into spasmodic twinges and Sawyer accommodating their feelings by altering the game setting to their whims.

1) All press would be triggered by a lack of homosexual vampires (wouldn't matter to them that kindred don't have libido).
2) All sjws would be triggered by Toreador's rapelike charm abilities and the feeding in general would be perceived as rape, because it kinda is.
3) The Tzimisce's 10 legged things could "offend" certain snowflakes.
4) The anarchs being too manly would be offensive to the feminists.
5) The incestuous Giovanni would be called out as an offensive Sicilian stereotype that has no place in modern culture or some same shit.
6) Assamites being muslim vampires could potentially lead to a death threat twit (a joke, but nobody would get it) and then everyone at Obsidian would act like they're charlie hebdo or something.

The whole idea is just bad. Knowing Josh, most of the "controversial concepts" would be cut, gay vampires would be invented, the game would be a complete and utter shit. No want.

I brofisted you, but i don't agree 100%.
While PoE isn't as SJWish as some posters imply, neither is as offensive and irreverant as your post implies, nor i would describe it's violence as "extreme". As for the rape, i don't even remember the instance.(that isn't to say you are lying, but even if it was there in the game, it was so toned down that only someone who is easily triggered would even remember it.
