15 for kickstarter and 35 for the prestigious codex statue. When my next check arrives I'm probably gonna get the 50(65) reward.

It's not moving as fast as DFA's did obviously, but it's actually getting much larger donations on average. ~57 per backer compared to around 40 at a similar point for Double Fine.
I guess CRPG fans are just very well-off(/desperate)! :obviously:
Somebody actually predicted that this would happen (less but larger donations than DF).
Who was that? Step up and receive thy brofist!
Here. I don't like to gloat, but I'm glad that studying marketing for 4 years led to something usefull.

Still, it's likely that the difference is that big because we are at the start of the kickstart, it should get closer to Double Fine's as less interested people hear about the project and decide to help with $15.

And still nobody wants thy sausage! I wonder is it because the reward is crap or the sum (at this stage people don't care wether they are donating 2500 or 5000 so they go for a better reward)?

One of the people who pledged 10K was the guy making Swords & Sorcery Underworld.

Charles is a true bro :bro:

Now we just need to ask Charles-cgr to donate at least $100 towards the Codex shrine. The Codex did a favourable review of his game, after all. :p

Not cool, girl, not cool. That's how the decline in gaming journalism started in the first place :(

Still, charles is a bro and I could imagine he would contribute

It does kinda feel like buying a vote/review but I'll see if I can scrape up something extra next month. Right now I'm still shaky. I rarely if ever wrote such a big check in my whole life.

TotalBald has this talent to hype things up, as do all youtube celebrities. Good thing he's fighting the good fight with his videos in this case.

Hey, I was kidding. ;) No rush and no pressure, really. If you can donate next month, cool; if you can't donate, don't. You've already done more than enough!

I have to admit I was one of the pessimists who thought it would be already a success if this game raised 400k. Oh boy, never felt better to be proven wrong. With such a good start they should break trough the 1 Million mark easily in a few days, and with a bit of luck they could gather 1,5 million or more until the end of the timelimit.

700K in 30 hours. How long did DF take to get to one million?
A little over 24 hours. As I said, it's not quite as fast as DFA, but it's still going steady, and getting lots of big donations.

It seems inevitable that the fundraising will succeed now, possibly within the next 24 hours. Fucking spectacular is all I have to say. Vindication for everyone who never stopped loving the great true RPGs.

TB is on it? Thats great, he has over 600 000 subscribers so it will be a nice publicity bump for Wasteland 2.

Well I'm secretly hoping it will raise much more than a million $.
Does anyone know at how much money will they add that additional content they planed but one million is not enough to "make it happen"?
