How is re-stealthing exactly working in this game? I'm at the junkyard right now with a sniperstealth character and find it really difficult compared to my psion. Aimed shot CAN kill one enemy in one shot, but often does not, and since I can get only one shot per turn, I have to run away like a pussy. When I stealth again they instantly detect me though, even when I run around several corners of different buildings.
toro sniper build seems to be destroying most enemies easily. How is re-stealthing exactly working in this game? Having same issue. I hadn't played since 1st EA release and I remember it being much easier to re-stealth after picking someone off with Snipe. I'm level 8 at 1st map in Junkyard. I can use Snipe to kill anyone on the map. Then I'm detected and rest of map rapes me. I thought maybe I was supposed to clear out Lunatics first but Lunatic Gunner + Chiller + Brawler with three dogs hands me my ass too. Not sure how sniper build is supposed to work because once you have to move, the sniper rifle becomes useless and you're using a secondary weapon for which you haven't taken many perks. Also maxed Dodge/Evade with seven agility and no armor penalty seems utterly useless as most enemies don't miss much. I did make some poor skill point investments that have me behind on crafting/hacking/lock picking. Probably going to start over today.
If anyone has made a sniper that doesn't suck, I'd be interested in any suggestions on Attributes/Skills/equipment/play style. One thing I haven't done is try to build a silenced sniper rifle due to low crafting skill - I'm thinking this may be large part of the problem since being able to re-stealth seems vital.
Do one more.Hey, where'd the coretech merchant go? I did a few quests for Harlam, up to the defense of the warehouse and he still doesn't sell anything. Was it changed from the beta, or am I missing something?

It is an alpha strike / burst power only, and it is duplicated by TK proxy. Basically, use this combo: TK proxy - Premeditation - Implosion - TK Punch... and your enemy should be pretty much dead. Since it goes through shields, it is useful against plasma sentries (in fact, the combo I just described should drop them from 100% hp even if their shield is turned on).Man, implosion sucks, has to be the worst kinetic power, high psi cost, high AP cost, damage that by anyones standard is extremely low even when used against a target at max health, doesnt offer any CC, single target, doesnt synergize with anything really and that cooldown... I feel ripped off and i didnt even buy it, got it for free. Even if the psi cost was free i wouldnt use it. Really underwhelming for a psi power, never mind it being a top tier power.
Assault rifle + heavy armor is the usual tip, but I'm going for sledgehammer + heavy armor. 10 str, 10 con, ag 6, int 5. Make sure you get sprint and conditioning feats.
Don't get dodge and evasion as the biggest armours will negate it. Get lockpicking and hacking for loots, melee + throwing for grenades, and 4 crafting (I left out biology). This is only a lvl 1 tip but you don't want a full build surely.
I miss map in this game. From roleplaying perspective - even retarded character can have scrap of paper and pen - and draw something.
The grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side when playing Underrail. If you're playing Crossbows and Traps, you'll wish you were playing heavy armor Melee and Throwing. If you're playing Melee and Throwing, you'll wish you were playing pure psi, etc.
How do change the height of walls to be able to see what's against them? I think this was discussed at somepoint but I don't remember if it was finally implemented.
I made the suggestion with gifs to demonstrate it but Styg didn't find it necessary.
Styg, my offer still stands. If you ever reconsider the feature, I'll happily rework the graphics.
No, it isn't. It reduces quality of components, which is very important. Common components like scopes, magazines, etc. are easily obtainable from traders and you wouldn't want to disassemble a weapon to get them. Cash is not a problem.Guys, it's "Disassemble" really good?

With one additional point in INT you can get "Armor Sloping", which reduces armor penalty from your crafted metal armor.
