I'm probably late to the party, but is there any, uhhh, Tomb Raiding in this? All I've seen thus far is BROWN AND BLOOMAN FAR CRY: RAPE SURVIVOR EDITION.

That's a bummer. Hope that she wanders into some ancient south american temple or some shit at the very least. Otherwise they may as well've just called the game 'Lara Croft', or some shit.

The one that isn't on Greenlight, bub.

I'm pending hernia surgery while recovering from other health issues and failure of the "other" game. But feel free to get to San Francisco and be my personal cheerleader. Bring statistics showing how awesomely old-school RPGs sell these days.
I'd rather go into your hernia surgery for you.

It's a deal :)

Sorry to hear about this.
Sorry to hear that :( ! Get well soon!
Thanks :)

... meanwhile, I tried playing Tomb Raider: Anniversary and immediately had some crucial gameplay observations:

1) boob physics are present
2) either a graphical bug or sweat spots appear on her clothing in boob region
3) there's an outline of panties in her crotch

On another note, all enemies get stuck in scenery upon seeing you, and can be killed while they're trying to clip through a barrel.

I finally got to the water section, where "SPACE" sends Lara to surface, but it only sent her to touch the water edge from below. I couldn't figure out how to actually surface before she ran out of breath and I quit.

Yes, and my point was they are, at best, paying lip service to the ethos of the original games.

From the videos, it seems to be part of Uncharted franchise.

The similarities between Tomb Raider and Uncharted are hard to ignore, but Crystal believes there is plenty that differentiates the two, especially in terms of gameplay and tone. Gallagher pointed out the game's drastically different structure, combining more linear, cinematic portions with larger hub sections that encourage exploration. Tomb Raider also doesn't have that light-hearted feel of an Uncharted game, as the tone is far more dark and does "not pull any punches."

For many years I wanted more mature games, dark and gritty. But after this shit became trendy, I realized that nobody has any idea how to do it. And is most likely this Gallagher doesn't know either.

I've always considered myself an unashamed storyfag. I love a good story to motivate me in my gameplay, to set the tone for the world I am exploring, whatever. So it's particularly amusing to me that their story focus in this game annoys me so much.

Go make a fucking movie.

Story of my life.:(

ive always loved a good story in game.....only as a plus

But........I hate when gameplay get's dumbed down in any way because of story. Regenerating health does not make me more interested in narrative.

Why are her hair shining like that? Is it to convince the players that their hair are incorrect because they don't shine so that they'll go and buy the newest hair-shine?

She knows what's coming already. Time to purposefully fail that rape scene a few (hundred) times. :smug:

Aw hell yeah bros, the game is finally out. Haven't been this "excited" for a game's "release" for a long time.
