That's not putting more effort in it, that's going with the most bland possibility imaginable.I went for voodoo since I'm a sucker for magic. It's a bit of a lackluster, but it gets the job done... I just wish they'd put a bit more effort into voodoo, like a direct damage spell involving a doll and a needle. Would that be too hard?
Exactly! If I could brofist you, I would. I noticed a lot of the professional reviewers also pointed out the lack of direct damaging spells as a criticism. That's why we can't have nice things. Direct damaging spells are the laziest, most predictable spell design you can think of.It seems that PB took a different route with the voodoo magic and this aspect alone makes me want to go out and buy the game. I only wish they had developed it further because it seems like the voodoo spells are very limited in number.
Everytime somebody mentions Gothic 4, I remember this guy:
26 hours in and definitely far from completion, so far I love this game as I loved Risen and Gothic series.Aeschylus : Crazy price point? For a big RPG? It certainly seems worth it (9 hours in).
Fuck, i'm stuck. I'm supposed to sabotage 4 cannons in Puerto Isabella, but 3 of them are guarded 24/7 by one guy, and i can't get rid of him. What should i do? Halp bros. You're my only hope.

I guess it would be too much of a win button? I'm in Antigua and I've only seen it once so far, where it made sense. It only costs 500 gold, though.
Game is definitely easier than any PB game before it, though I still die plenty. I think the monkeys are bugged - they circle round you, but their radius is so short you can just keep hacking away and the character autotargets with his sword. If they were circling just beyond your reach, they would be pretty tricky enemies in their own right, especially if you're trying to use muskets. Hope they patch that, can't be too difficult.
Anyway, is my game bugged, or you don't get any red cross on the main map, only on the ground? Because finding treasures is almost impossible to me like this.
I dunno, i'm dieing plenty.
Fighting animals is ruining my game experience, if those fuckers get to hit you, it's pretty much the same to instantly reload because it's damn hard to interrupt them and you can't even dodge the attacks. Can't imagine wtf they were thinking.
Good. Fun. But voodoo is pretty good as well, as some spoke.Sorry, I didn't read entire thread, but how are the muskets?

It's just a sword fighting that sucks.
Well Amazon.de got the Codes from us...
Maybe they want to keep them for themselves.
We are sorry, that you are still waiting for your Codes. We are talking with Amazon from our side. As Ni Mhaille wrote before, Amazon is a big company and at the moment we can't really do anything to speed up the process.
The Codes will likely arrive soon. I don't know either if Amazon is counting calendary or workdays.
Wait what?
I found the bodies and asked around a lot about them, but I never came to that conclusion. I also totally left the defector in the woods because I couldn't be arsed to escort him back to base camp(it was the final island I did, and I was swimming in gold)
And it just me or is "nuff said" really underused? Think I got 2 prompts to use it throughout the entire game, and I bought it on the first island.
