Hmmm, this is on Kickstarter now: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1502497016/the-dark-inside-me
There's a demo.
I'm guessing people who grew up on Sanitarium are finally old enough to create their own games?

That's..................................................................... interesting?
I'm tempted to get ROM because of the heavy Snatcher vibes, but damn, that art direction just rubs me the wrong way. All the characters look like ridiculous cutesy caricatures. While Snatcher captured that 80's cyberpunk style superbly, basically copying Blade Runner and Terminator, this looks like it copies furry anime.
Apparently at one point Sierra was developing a talkie version of one of its most underrated adventure games Conquests of the Longbow: The Legend of Robin Hood, but the project was cancelled. This short non-interactive demo is all that survived.
The furry bit is actually explained in the game and it's not the "lol, I identify as a cat! RAWR" kind of explanation

There is no "climb up" or "climb down" anymore. :D
If there was ever a Lucasarts game that didn't need "remastering", it's DOTT. What's there to remaster?
