Most of your good programmers will fall into the "too shy" category FYI
Non-programmers just don't get it.

It can also be a matter of the lad subconsciously perceiving the male engineer as being the interview leader or what have you, thus he answers the question put forth by a socially inferior person directly to him.If it does happen, it's likely because he's socially inept and doesn't know how to talk to women.https://twitter.com/carrie_patel

"Heard of a cool tech-bro-weeding interview technique the other day. A male and female engineer conduct the interview session together. If, when the female engineer asks the candidate a question, he directs his answer to the male engineer, then he's out. They said it happens a lot"
So, they're weeding out people who already have trouble interacting in a social setting. Good job.
Yeah, this is not a bro-weeding technique, it's a bro selection technique.
In all serioussnes, I agree. Regardless of gender or of position. If someone asks you a question you answer to the person asking the question. Anyway who does not, is either too shy to work or is a suck-up who's a pain to work with.
Yeah, that's called a suck-up. I have yet to be in an interview where thats actually required. And that includes a military hearing I had a month ago.It can also be a matter of the lad subconsciously perceiving the male engineer as being the interview leader or what have you, thus he answers the question put forth by a socially inferior person directly to him.If it does happen, it's likely because he's socially inept and doesn't know how to talk to women.https://twitter.com/carrie_patel

I won't be playing this at least until it's out on steam. Mainly for two reasons:Also writing seems great so far but I can't wait to see what AwesomeButton digs up & obsesses over for couple of years.
To be fair, AwesomeButton also makes lots of good points and its mainly a matter of perspective that gets us into arguments. He clearly loves crpgs, can be reasonable and is allowed like (thankfully) every other person on the codex to voice his opinion. And its good that he does.
So
MCA's tweet is kinda hilarious, congratulating Cain and Leonard and while making fun of Bethesda.
I won't be playing this at least until it's out on steam.
There will be plenty of fun shitting on the game on the Codex once it gets released and its flaws come to light.I won't be playing this at least until it's out on steam.
Not cool bro, we were gonna have so much fun
In the case with Disco Elysium its just a happy coincidence that the game is truly great and deserves the praise.

I agree, and I'm sorry I'll miss it. The best fun is when everyone is playing a new game at the same time right on release.I won't be playing this at least until it's out on steam.

People are reading waaay too deep into this. Maybe she's just ugly? Or maybe the candidate is actually gay?https://twitter.com/carrie_patel

That's utterly retarded. I could avoid looking at people for hundreds of different reasons.
She knows nothing about psychology
Its only the case for niche RPGs; PoE & Deadfire got the same treatment. We don't see TOW sitting on 90+ metacritic like PoEs were siting on their first weeks.
Because it's European and it's UI is not moron-friendly. This tends to piss off american journos, requires them to leave twitter for too long. Why is Elex 67 then? Is it because Poe is such a superior game or because media retards praise Obsidian shit no matter what, but when it comes to other less prestigious developers they are objective all of a sudden?

If it was that, then ToW would have been 67 as well.Maybe Elex is 67 because the AI belongs in the last century
They lack style and the ability to read style.Because it's European and it's UI is not moron-friendly. This tends to piss off american journos, requires them to leave twitter for too long.
That, and jank. American journos are not kind on jank.
Correct me if I am wrong, but from what footage I have seen so far, you cannot actually lower your weapon when walking around town?
