Indeed, the most talkative are usually the ones the killers target, so that's Nevill, and then myself. But hey, if they leave you alive, that might be sign that you're off barking up the wrong branch...

I think it's notable that the late 2 votes for me, in an apparent effort to break the Excommunicator bandwagon, are entirely effortless 'k i vote tigranes'.

Lynching postponed until after I get home in 2-3 hours. Sorry lads. Killers can send me their kill orders, and priests and detectives can send me their orders too starting now. Once I get all the orders, then the next day will begin.

Ten codexers form a tight circle around Excommunicator. They begin ripping at his clothes, yelling insults and slurs, spitting and kicking. Excommunicator is dragged naked by the feet to the lynching tree, leaving a small trail of blood.

Tigranes (with a white pillow case with holes in it over his head) fumbles while tieing the noose, he pulls out his phone and googles "how to tie a noose" and manages to get it done a minute later.

The other codexers, all clad in white robes begin chanting "KILL! KILL! KILL!"

The masked executioner pulls the noose down over the chin of the accused and proclaims: "The Excommunicator is excommunicated!"

The chair is kicked from under Excommunicator. His feet struggle to touch the ground, swaying back and forth, before becoming still.

You all brofist yourselves for a job well done, and rummage through excommunicators belongings, pocketing any cash, valuables and website passwords you can. One of you finds a badge... and realizes the horrible truth:

You have just killed the detective.

Good night, gentlemen.

Dawn will break after all active roles send me their orders.

*speaks final words from beyond the grave*

You have pulled a sleeping police officer from his bed in the dead of night and hung him from a tree based on no evidence.

You are no longer innocents.

God speed to the killers.

At least that clears him of the doubt.
Who needs a detective anyway ? Even if he randomly finds a vicitm he cannot speak, for fear of being killed in return.

Now, before the new murder is comitted, did Excommunicator accuse anyone in particular so far ?

10 hours passed between the question and actual lynching. Heavy sleepers are worse than lurkers. :M

You have a bad case of lyncher's remorse if I ever saw one. Codex is not the first thing I do every morning Nevill.

Anyway, back to the game. Have fun.

Let us wait for the second victim before pointing fingers once again. There will be more clues. I did, however, noticed that Hoaxmetal wrote a post accusing me without apparent reason, probably very glad that the wrath of the crowd was directed at someone else than him... The Killer... But let us wait for a new body.

After a long and exausting day of baseless accusations and lynchings, Tigranes retreats to his chamber to relax by playing his favorite new game, Fallout 4 on his one and only gaming machine, the XBOX ONE. As he navigates through the beautiful open world, state of the art graphics and deeply written dialogue choices, he suddenly hears a strange mechanical voice screetching "CASUAL, CASUAL!". Tigranes puts down his XBOX ONE controller and turns around. Before he could even open his mouth to scream, his head is smashed into his chest, eyeballs almost bursting from the pressure. Tigranes crumples to the ground, his vision turning red, but not before seeing a giant grinning Vault Boy bobblehead leering over him...

...Meanwhile, in another wing of the manor, Hoaxmetal puts on his sleeping cap and tucks himself into bed. On the edge of sleep, he hears a 'WHOMP!' as a pillow is pulled down over his face. Struggling to breath, he thrashes and flails his arms and legs, hoping to hit his assailant, but it is no use. Hoaxmetals breathes his last, and his arm goes limp...

The sun has arisen, morning has begun. In consideration for our european friends, extra time has been awarded. today is 59 hours long.

NOTE: today, please be more organized with your votes and accusations by formally proclaiming them using ALLCAPS. we aren't doing the brofist thing because it's too hard to keep track of

example: I ACCUSE @EXAMPLE
example: I VOTE TO KILL @EXAMPLE

some thinking music for you lads
I prefer this instead.

Why not add this to your suspicious list:
I believe in taxalot's innocence. And frankly, you are making it harder for me to become convinced in yours. :M

Here's the suspect list.

Excommunicator
Tigranes

a bear named spigot
Nevill - likely innocent
Viata
Duraframe300
Grimgravy - likely innocent
Hoaxmetal
Corporate_Jew_Master
Jim the Dinosaur
taxalot - likely innocent

There are 8 of us left and 2 of the killers. In theory, if we miss on our chance this day, there will be 5 and 2. We still have a chance.

I have to say, I suspected Hoaxmeal. He was a lurker, and he brofisted several accusation posts without adding an explanation. I suppose it's good he was cleared in this manner.

I suspect these guys the most:
Corporate_Jew_Master
Jim the Dinosaur
a bear named spigot

With Viata in the 4th place. If he is guilty, I think that's some decent masterminding.

Edit: Vote removed.

Nah, I'm over 100% sure you are the killer. I'll not play this cat and mouse game anymore.
I ACCUSE Nevill.
Once again the clues leaves to you.

Only a Killer would see good things from an innoncent death. I'll focus on the other killer, as I'm sure you are one of them.

Hm. The orders were sent to Mr. Pink after I left the post.

Someone is trying to set me up with very crude and obvious fallacies. And I think I remember Viata trying to accuse me through some very convoluted method. I think he is trying too hard. Perhaps he wisened up to the whole 'active poster' alibi and has gone overboard with it.

I change my vote. I ACCUSE Viata.

Come to think of it, he was the first one to support lynching a detective, was he not?

Reducing a number of suspects is a good thing overall, as long as innocents still outnumber the criminals.

And right now, you are the most suspect, and a liability to the innocent side. Guilty or innocent, I support lynching you with all my heart. :M

Do the killers even know who's the detective?

And wow someone has it in for casuals. Who's the most edgy codexer here?
