How long before it's running at 60 fps, 4k on CEMU? Maybe 3 months at most?

It's a 30 fps game cemu can't change that, and no one knows if it will run at all chances are it won't even boot since it requires a install which isn't implemented in cemu atm.

Sad if true. Would love to see this on the hardware it deserves.

In any case, lots of the footage looks good but I worry about:
1) Poor dungeon design (has been plaguing the series since Windwaker - doubt it will be rectified).
2) Lack of meaningful content. The game will need to balance collectibles, rewards for exploration, and unique puzzles or easter eggs in a way that few companies have done. I doubt it'll feel as lifeless as MGSV or Ubisoft open world games, but fuck there's a lot of ground to cover.

Don't get me wrong the Cemu devs would be stupid not to start working on getting it to run asap if it doesn't work since that would skyrocket their Patreon income so it will run sooner or later.

14th February, 2017 – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch and Wii U is one of the largest, most engaging video games Nintendo has ever created. While the main game offers players an engrossing quest that will keep them entertained for hours, as well as the freedom to explore the vast Hyrule at their own pace, the game world provides a rich canvas that offers the opportunity for additional adventures. As a result, the first-ever downloadable content for the mainline The Legend of Zelda series is in development.

Starting when the game launches on 3rd March, players will be able to purchase an Expansion Pass for £17.99/€19.99, granting access to two new sets of downloadable content for the game when they become available later this year. Immediately upon pre-purchase or purchase of the Expansion Pass, three new Treasure Chests will appear in the game’s Great Plateau area. One of these Treasure Chests will contain a shirt with a Nintendo Switch logo which Link can wear during his adventure, exclusive to the Expansion Pass. The other two Treasure Chests will deliver useful items. The first content pack is scheduled to launch this summer and will include the addition of a Cave of Trials challenge, a new hard mode and a new feature for the in-game map. The second content pack will launch in Holiday 2017, and adds new challenges that will let players enjoy a new dungeon and a new original story. The Expansion Pass will be available for both the Nintendo Switch and Wii U versions of the game and are identical. Content packs cannot be purchased individually.

“The world of Hyrule which we created for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is so large and vibrant that we wanted to offer more for players to experience within it,” said Nintendo developer Eiji Aonuma, the long-time producer of the series. “With this new Expansion Pass, we hope that fans will play, explore and enjoy the game even more.”

BotW looks quite intriguing overall but what's with that absolutely soulless UI? That's a bit too much inspiration taken from Skyrimjob. Why not enhance the one from OoT/MM/TP?
Even first Legend of Zelda UI looks better than this.

It still has barely more than jack shit. Least in terms of good exclusives. Switch will have it beat in that regard pretty quick, if not immediately.

Persona 5 and Read Dead Redemption 2 which will be the Zelda killer....... nintendo will never beat those

I couldn't find the other Zelda thread so:

Kotaku ranks Zelda games :retarded:

https://kotaku.com/the-legend-of-zelda-games-ranked-from-worst-to-best-1792136643

#13: LoZ (out of 15)
#7: OoT
#5: WW

So fucked up

Yeah, I was going to play Devil's Advocate but this is just wrong.

Zelda Classic is at least top 5, #3 at least. It's competitors for top spot are AlltP and MM.

Those other two are positions defensible though.

On the positive side, somebody with insight and talent finally did what needed to be done:

Hahaha, the Wind Waker hipster revisionism is strong these days. No way is it top 5, but there has been this growing movement of hipsters who now hail it as one of the best ones, that they thought so even when it came out and everyone else was hating on it, and weren't they so ahead of the curve. I mean, I liked the game but I do remember a lot of disappointed and so-so reactions. Meanwhile, Adventure of Link is now black sheep, no one liked it, disappointment. Revisionist bullshit.
