So anybody here play monster quest(the original 3 parts)?
From what i played the game is story heavy with limited rpg elements and puzzle combat.
Which annoyed me greatly,being a gameplay fag.

They're fine, but I wish Rance showed up in that world to show these bitches proper respect to men.
There's a New game + mod that improves the gameplay and gives a new story, but it's still unfinished, the part 3 of the mod supposedly coming soon. Anytime now.

Reviews don't seem that favorable to its RNG-ish sort of gameplay tho.

Can confirm, this is pretty gud. And the best thing is you can ignore the romance / adult content, the game is fun on its own too if you're a medieval geek like myself.

Oh yeah I really enjoyed this one. I like adult games where you have the option of remaining pure, or trying to remain pure. Without getting into spoilers, he Duchess romance path is particularly good in this game, but in general the characters are well written with believable motivations.

It's actually possible to create in Koikatsu Sunshine characters that don't look like total moe shit, even without character creator mods. But man, it's an uphill battle. And the game is still kind of crap.

Not sure what you exactly mean by "A Porn version of Persona 4", but another Illusion game, "Artificial Academy 2", would be probably much closer to that.
AA2 has more meaningful traits in character creator. It has an alright attempt at creating japanese school drama AI - romance, cheating, blackmail H, dangerous yanderes. It tracks relationships of individual characters, boob size and fertility reactivity etc. But the game is much older and it shows.
Koikatsu is maximum vanilla, you just run around and grind stats with created waifus. Interactions between characters are only superficial. Almost zero depth. Gets boring pretty quickly. Graphics are nice, but default characters are awful deformed moe abominations.

Nah, the thing I was going for was the view of the streets and the people in it really reminds me of how Persona 4 presents those parts of the game.

Sengoku/sangoku hime.
Hey,it is rotk but eroge!!!
It is boring as fuck and lazy.The dev keeps recyling everything and each new game past 3 is somehow more buggy.Also fuck this dev for having the balls to copy the puk expansion dlc without adding anything worth it.

Koihime musou series
Simplistic alternative rotk period strategy with a decent story.Only the later parts actually have "better" gameplay in the from of a card system,still not worth it.

Venus blood series:
Simply can't get past the automated combat.You select the units that counter the enemy/maximize their strengths and that is it.
I have never played a strategy games that has no real tactical payoff,and i am beginning to see why that is.
Gears of dragoon is a more traditional dungeon crawler from them.But the moment you start comparing it to any decent dungeon crawler,it falls apart.(story o most eroge dungeon crawlers minus rance)
Bonus points for having traps that hurt in the tutorial area though.

It's the uncanny valley. They're neither human nor cartoonish enough for it to work.

They do have, yeah. For all immersive efforts, a lot of uncanny valley effect (way too much for some people) because of the models and other stuff. But this is a fun one.
