The core game is, of course, identical. It's the content.

The Keep itself looks p. darned good at first. The Caves of Chaos are mildly entertaining. The problem kicks in about 50% through the mod. It's unfinished, and glaringly so (or at least last I played it, which was several years ago). You get to the point where it looks like some kid was just drawing the buildings and other areas with crayon. Plus there are some very questionable -- hell, unacceptable -- dialogues and so forth.

The thing was clearly made by someone with a teenage mentality, which is sad.

Edit: More on the mod:

My experience with circle of eight would suggest that anything those guys do is going to be a trash fire, so that's no surprise.

Thanks for the review, seems like i'm not going to bother with it, i'll just wait for a while and replay ToEE with Temple+ which i didn't finish yet, after the first Balor encounter and i'm not sure which god intervention, i lost interest, is there anything else interesting to do ?

Try the FRUA version. It's pretty good. No idea how faithful it is to the source material, though.

If you have the GoG version you can play without any additional modding.

You would have to remove moebius' temple.dll first, wouldn't you?

No I wouldn't. The GoG version played perfectly well without any changes made by me. Therefore I don't recommend installing additional mods or reverting it back to a buggy state by removing the dll.

I'm just saying the GoG version is modded with moebius' temple.dll. Also, moebius' temple.dll is buggy, too.

Source in case anyone wants the links.

(I've since edited the above "release state" with "its best unmodded state.")

I don't enjoy soloing party-based TB games, the fun to manage different characters with different skills.

There's a lot of ***** that offer you that kind of experience already.
