man I wish I had some orange (as in item quality color) pants or something. Sadly I only find skirts :(
Grab the Imperial Noble pants from Dromund Kaas cantina. Just requires Social I, and is nice, plain and black.

I guess the whole commendation thing just wasn't properly tested.

When I was on beta, sometimes the commendation marks would go in my inventory instead of just increasing the currency count.

That happened to me yesterday, Ex. Is there some way to convert that thing to currency, or should I just destroy it?

(That movie's too blurry for me to make out)

Nah...there's lots of swtor videos on youtube. They probably took this one down because it teaches people how to exploit. At least that means they are aware of it now.

It's great however to see them abusing their copyrights whenever it suits them. What a wonderful corporate world we live in. Who still thinks the laws will only be used to protect "artists" from theft?

So ... which of the two aliens you are going after?

Aliens ? The Human Imperial Officer is the LS option, I think. Looking at the information the in-game codex gives, he definitely seems like a LS or Neutral at worse.

Also, LS Female Warrior and Vette already have enough dialogue for a biowarian romance, why on earth it isn't in, I don't know.

Vette - "I have memories I want to forget as well..."
Warrior - "Should I take that as a personal attack, Vette ?"
Vette - *gently places hand on warrior's shoulder* "No...I would never want to forget you."

Oh you are playing a female.
I was mistaken thinking the Twi'lek and the Togruta were SW options when its just the Twi'lek.

I will take a pass of romances since if I play its a Twi'lek (female, obvious) and the options on the Republic are ... not good.

Once something gets on the interbutts, it stays there.

He's Evil to Neutral... Really about serving the Empire's best interests, so there will be times when he likes the light sided options (like choosing not to kill someone out of spite when he can provide more information by being kept alive and tortured). He's really professional and likes to do things by the book. Turns out to be a brown noser later too.

Well, hes the only choice I have as a Female. Until they release the same-sex romances, then I get Vette.

Also, anyone know a good way to get credits ? The daily space missions are alright, but you can only do them once a day and the 1000 or so credits they give is eaten up by 2 companion missions. With the third tier of Companion shite unlocked, the cost of missions is only going to get worse.

He's actually pretty reasonable, probably one of the most coherent companions out there.

The exp quests start giving more money as you level up. I get 10k credits per Ilum daily, plus the mobs drop around 200 credits+vendor trash at that level. Sounds like you're getting your Tradeskills ahead of your leveling.

I already hear people who haven't played either of previous KOTORs saying that TOR is brilliant. How do I cope with this bullshit?

You sure ? My Synthtech is only 131 at the moment. I'm lv.21 and on the final story mission of Balmorra. My Arch is around 161 and Underworld trading is lagging at 101 or so. Space daily gives me 1000 credits or so and the crafting missions take about 500 creds per shot.

TOR seem to have attracted a lot of non-MMO players, they have no idea what a MMO is and think this is great as its a single player with a multiplayer aspect ... but give it enough time and the majority of them are going to quit since end game is nothing but Raids and PvP and they will get bored of making new toons.

Well it's really no worse than KOTOR, aside from not having useful non-combat skills (like Security and Repair), because even WoW combat is better than the bsb of KOTOR combat.

Some more exciting SWTOR news:

Turns out you can't buy the game if you live in Brazil. You get redirected to the national origin store (that doesn't have the game available) unless you use a VPN. So you go ahead and buy a cd-key from a third party vendor, right? But then you find out the game refuses to subscribe with your credit cards, so you're also forced to pay 29.99 USD for the 60 days credit because your account doesn't activate unless you start a subscription.

So yeah...good thing the game doesn't even want us to buy it.

Meh, standard procedure, every MMO I played was the same thing, nínguem nos quer.

Besides, "brazilian-free" could be used as a strong selling point for most MMO players...Hell, I hardly survived playing on a BR-heavy server, with the "Ronaldo...brilha muito." jokes ad nauseam.
