I tried this game on my friend’s PS5 for about 30 minutes while he got the grill going.

First impression: “This armor is definitely not like the Failguards’ nonsense, smirk, smirk.” (Right in front of me was this futuristic character, a woman with an ‘armor’ layer that literally coated the skin of her—well, her physics-defying assets, which bounced everywhere with every step).
Second impression: “Another one!? Costumes and weapons like this… Koreans really seem to rival the West’s own civilization decline when it comes to stereotypes.”
Third impression: “Hold on—the gameplay is actually pretty solid. All the usual, important tropes are there, and what’s this? It’s actually tempting me to explore that suspicious corner for a semi-hidden chest? Neat!”
Then came the fourth impression: WHAT?! WHAT IS THIS?! Again!? So, was that a hit… or a dodge…? Wait, where’s my health…? I’d lose health trying to focus on my health bar—What just happened?!

The “perfect dodge” apparently appends with some overdone and bizarre move with an ominous sound, making you think you’ve actually taken damage. What’s even funnier is that, by the time the dodge animation finishes, the enemy can be a full ten meters away.

I don't aim to downtalk the game, I just may not be the perfect audience for this kind of production, and I've really only played it for few moments. But eh,... I think that was enough excitement for me. Time to get back to my humble abode with two super-large monitors, playing Drova and Eye of the Beholder.
