I swear this game has the most unlikable NPCs in an RPGs. I just want to punch everybody in this game in the face.

I am really torn between Witcher 3 NG+, Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends, Way of the Samurai 4, and this...over this weekend.

Nice to know they heard me and made character models more serious and less cartoony.

Now, they just need to drop the biowarian walls of texts full of pointless/fake dialogue choices and swap it for smaller / concise texts with meaningful choices, and make the game more like a good sandbox and less like the shitty GM railroad pet-adventure that it is now.

5/10.

Yeah nah.
Sandbox to often equals shallow and boring story with uninteresting plot points.
there is a place for stuff like that, but I prefer the SRR Games the way they are.

Also: Thanks for the info's and experiences with the Whip, could somebody post the actual stats of it (DMG and AP)?
So far it sounds interesting!

Hi there, casual fag. Fallout 4 is coming out soon.

Bye now, have fun. Don't let the door hit you on your way out of the thread.

10th place on Steam's Top Sellers list ATM. Seems like the Shadowrun games will continue to be middling sellers, but I guess that's good enough.

If I remember right, Shadowrun Returns was at #1 for a number of days when it was released. It also topped out at ~24,000 concurrent players.

Hopefully this does a lot better than Dragonfall. The lackluster Dragonfall sales meant HBS wasn't sure if they'd continue the series (though I think in the end, Dragonfall had pretty good legs). Though at least they had the Kickstarter money this time around (I think it was all gone by the time they started Dragonfall).

I really like the thing they've used in all three of these where the PC's old friend is the adventure hook. It gives some humanizing story motivation without really determining anything.

I feel bad for making this confession but I suck at Matrix stealth D:
Gonna need some more tries with the first system on Is0bel to get the real hang of it. And I was so good at Pacman when I was 6. :argh:

Yeah, it's much darker than Dead Man's Switch or Dragonfall where almost everyone was your friend. They did great job with 'Auntie', I am sure everybody hates her with passion

One thing that continues to annoy me to no end is the fog of War obscuring the entire home base and district map after every fucking mission...

They should have fixed this by the third release with the engine.

Goddammit, I have Charisma (5) on my dude. Meanwhile, in this Is0bel mission I've already seen two greyed out Charisma (4) and Charisma (5) options. Scripting is teh hard?

What's the written or unwritten rule on posting Let's Plays around here? I don't want to get thrown to the Codex version of the Sarlaac, because the general Codex makes the Sarlaac look like a pet kitten :P

Anyway:

and...

The introduction missions seem to drag longer than DF. Also larger hub which adds nothing except pretty views and more running distance between vendors. Dunno who thought more pointless running each time visiting the hub would be a good idea..
