Dead State Divinity: Original Sin
Spec Ops: Apocalypse Now The Line.

It's surprisingly good. It's a typical cover shooter, when it comes to game mechanics. But the story is great. So far i'm in chapter six (out of something around 14 total), and i have no idea what the fuck is going on. I'm not really sure if i'm killing the good or the bad guys. It draws from Apocalypse Now heavily, so the atmosphere is really raw and gritty. And as you can see, it's also pretty gory. IMO it's worth a playthrough, because i can't think of another game that makes me feel so uneasy about killing people and generally experiencing war. Seriously. There are also some tough moral choices to make. Will you save a guy who risked his life to help you earlier, or will you save a group of innocent civs who are being indiscriminately slaughtered instead? You can't make a safe choice, and in the end, you won't be a hero. This game is really messed up.

BTW the demo sucks. This game is really all about experiencing the story and watching how the characters gradually change from typical 'Kwan "hardened killing machines" to traumatised, shellshocked wrecks. It's done well, but you can't show that in those 2 short levels they included in the demo.

You are sure of this?

Ranger : Woody (new PC I created in Lonelywood, I was curious to see how high and fast a level 1 character would rise on HoW XP only)
Vazdru, how did that worked? What level did he reach? I'm thinking about adding a new char to the party in the expansion too. Not that I really need it, my four chars can hold their own in melee if they get swarmed, but more firepower and carrying capacity wouldn't hurt, especially when the rest of the party is already at a decent level, they wouldn't improve so much anymore as to make a big difference.

He reached level 14. It did make the fighting easier so I decided to make him a sling/melee character because a second archer made things too easy (plus, there were barely enough magic arrows to finish the game with my 5 attacks/round fighter/thief)

Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely add another char now. It's a shame to let all that juicy loot go to waste. Btw, did the ring of the reckless action had anything to do with those 5 attacks/round?

No, it was a bow :

Long Bow +4: Hammer (THAC0 +5, damage +4, +1 AC, 4 attacks per round)
(Minimum Dexterity of 17 required, Minimum Strength of 12 required)

You actually get 5 attacks per round when using it since it's always +1 attack/round with bows.

OK, gonna give it a try.
Fuck, this game is bad. The retarded gameplay completely prevents me from enjoying the story. Just unplayable popamole mess that consists of everything which is wrong about popamoles. Good music though.
