State sponsored? Looks like after Smut-a state had to cut it's sponsoring. Well, it's better than all those lizards vs rus meme games at least.

Still not going to play it. Give me Silent Storm 2 or proper Allods sequel or fuck off.

Wait until they finish the game, not just tutorial area and first chapter - as they did last time on Encased.

Graphics and design are nice, as they were in Encased.
Guys that made Encased, modernized Soviet SF they like... story repeats itself somehow.

At the best, it will be something in the vein of the Noon Universe by Strugatsky Brothers.
At slightly worse Russian SF level, maybe it would be meme-worthy.

Some info:
¬ Several hours to complete
¬ "Many ways" to solve problems
¬ In production for 6 months
¬ They are planning "adding content in the future"
¬ "Every walkthrough is different" - procedural generation?

Overall, meh

The plot of "Saturn" takes us to the year 2062. In an alternative future, Russia and the whole world are actively conquering space, exploring the Solar System. Suddenly, a mysterious signal from space takes control of artificial intelligence, forcing it to fight against its creators. Players will have to play the role of Akim, a Russian engineer-physicist, using remote robot control technology to save nothing less than the Earth.
There is also another video, only in russian, though.

Russian link 2
According to the plot, the events of the game take place in 2062, in an alternative timeline, where humanity is already in full swing exploring the Solar System, using the remote control technology "Reflection". But suddenly an unknown signal subdued human technology, and the main character Akim Kovalev, a scientist who was behind the creation of "Reflections", must deal with the unknown misfortune.

In terms of gameplay, we are promised an isometric RPG with tactical turn-based battles and a non-linear plot.

Russian link 3
The game's plot tells of humanity's encounter with a signal from Saturn's orbit that subjugates Earth technology. If the signal's spread is not stopped, then following Saturn's out-of-control satellite systems, the civilization dependent on machines and robots will face catastrophes and disasters with significant human casualties.

Players will experience a non-linear campaign with multiple endings, two tactical battle modes, and an arsenal of different weapons. The hero will also be assisted in battles by a robot assistant.

I do not speak or read russian, I have just translated these pages with a translator.

Russian state-sponsored Sci-Fi RPG

You need to stop advertising games like that, if you don't I'll go bankrupt.
Okay, I'll never play it due to the Disco Elysium vibes, but I will buy it.

Slammed by shill critics and major gaming sites and publications, but probably well received by gamers.
We'll see, it's still way too early.

The art design is just a carbon copy of Encased, which is unsurprising since apparently it's the same developers. It's concerning that they haven't shown any combat.

The second Russian trailer in OP has some snippets of combat.
