I'd happily rescue Ivanka but I'd be pretty disappointed if I had to go all the way to Spain only to find out I was supposed to rescue Tiffany.

Do japs have any evil cults in their video games that aren't a parody of Roman Catholicism? Dark Souls III, then Bloodporn, now this... getting sick of this rampant Catholophobia.

Make an evil and monstrous version of your faggot Buddhamonks and shamanic Shinto priests, you slit-eyed cunts. Have the monsters rave constantly about nirvana and enlightenment, and call their satanic leaders "Lord Buddha".

You'd think Japan was nuked twice by the Vatican.

What would actually happen if Resident Evil Village's Lady Dimitrescu stepped on you? We spoke to a former dominatrix to find out.

Skinwalker catolicism is foreign and alien to Japanese, so at least they are honest when portraying it as something sinister.

Whites doing the same is worse.
Yes, yes, religion ia bad, but let's start worshipping niggers, trannies, insert Critical Race theory in schools and give hormone blockers to our kids.
The West is fucking insane and makes Sodom and Gomorrah look virtuous in comparison.

What happened to this goddamned thread? Turned into bitching and moaning about trannies and then these hentai weirdos getting aroused by the fucking cartoon woman. Can’t you guys take this bullshit elsewhere? I know I’m asking way too much.

Trying to do "minimalist", "silent stranger" and "frugalist" challenges in one run, i.e. beat the game without speaking to the merchant, without using healing consumables, and without using any weapons other than pistols and knives.

I'm doing this on NG without any bonus guns (which means all I have are unupgraded starting pistol, unupgraded Red 9, and a bunch of shitty consumable knives). To alleviate some of the pain I've decided to play on Assisted difficulty, cuz I'm not good enough to beat the whole campaign without taking damage. I also gave Ashley a suit of armor, which is the only non-weapon unlockable I have.

Overall it's pretty fun. Not being able to talk to the merchant liberates you from needing to look for treasures or complete sidequests, healing restriction combined with limited regen makes combat tense because you die in two hits (the first hit sends you into limping critical status), and lack of upgrades is somewhat balanced by enemies being less tanky on Assisted difficulty (they can also be reliably stunned with just a single headshot, like in Mercenaries). And even though you don't have to worry about healing supplies or different types of ammo, the resource management is still present since you can't repair your starting knife and must rely on low durability kitchen/boot knives.

Just arrived to the Island. I have a bad feeling about regenerators...

Ya those seem like interesting challenges. I’m trying to get the tommy gun right now. I played through once on standard and now I’m going through on professional. Some of the fights have gotten pretty annoying on this difficulty though, like the valley where they’re just spamming grenades at me. The enemies have gotten spongy and it’s not quite as fun. I think doing what you’re doing sounds more interesting to be honest. We shall see!!

Right after finishing I jumped into mercenaries, and while it was a blast I disappointingly got an S rank on all stages in about 20 minutes. The original had more difficult mercenaries for sure and more content therein.
Yeah, I was also disappointed by the lack of content Mercenary Mode has.
There will never be a good Mercenaries again. Capcom doesn't even bother adding the 'No Mercy' mode anymore.

I don't think Mercenaries was hard in the original. My scores were far above the 60,000 requirement for five stars. Could have gone higher if I had kept going back after getting the weapon. That seems more interesting than just getting the five stars... Seeing just how high you can go. But I had other shit to do at the time.

Parasite-infested armor suits are probably the silliest monsters I have ever seen in a video game.

Also, is Ada's voice going to be recast, or what? It sounds like the cleaning lady was voicing her lines. What the fuck.
