I wonder if they are gonna remove the multiple choices and the randomization of enemy spawns/items that re3 had.

I doubt they would remove such an important and marketed feature as choices system.

Randomization on the other hand can go to hell. It was stupid to make "magnum or grenade launcher" random.

I wonder if they will be remaking RE4 considering their streak or they will go straight toward RE8.

Hope RE8 will be again natively with VR support.

The over the shoulder camera in remake 2 gave me ff13 vibes. Where it feels like you constantly running through corridors made gameplay repetitive over time. We getting the same game with resident evil 3 story mode attached to it.

Its disappointing because resident evil 2 and 3 felt different enough from one another.

You shouldn't expect an exploration of Raccoon City like in an Open World game. But there will be plenty of exploration in many areas of the city.

  • Nemesis will use an improved version of the AI developed for the Tyrant of Resident Evil 2 Remake.

  • Sound will be very important in a city like Raccoon City, you will have to rely on it to anticipate dangers lying in wait around the corner.

  • Confirmation that we will visit the streets, the shops, the Stagla petrol station, the Raccoon Press offices, the hospital.

  • Nemesis was created in real life to be able to be scanned via photogrammetry.

  • Mercenaries mode will not return.

  • The mutant worms will be back.

  • Carlos will be playable.

  • There will not be the action choice mechanism as in the original, which could give different sequences of the game afterwards or an advantage over a danger.

  • There will also be no more endings. It will therefore be interesting to know who will fly the helicopter at the end of the game and whether Nicholai will survive or not.

I never played this series and I never won’t. However, why won’t they just remake Silent Hill 2? (Or even better, SH1 but 2 was more appreciated, I believe.)

why bother remaking storyfag games? SH2 still looks amazing from visual point of view, and changing gameplay into over-the-shoulder action will hurt the story. There's nothing to remake.

Re-releasing it on digital platforms would be great, but it's konami we are talking about.

Lazy modern fucks can't even replicate a old game on 10x budget and staff.

The nemesis ai wil be nothing more then a clone of the teleporting tyrant ai. This is done so they have a shit excuse to scrap the choices system.

The sound thing just means you won't get jack shit in music except footprint unless you pay for the music dlc.

Nice conformation that we will actually visit locales in racoon city, who would have though that?

Wasting money on nemesis bullshit instead of wasting money on making a actual nemesis ai.

Mercenaries mode will return, just as overpriced dlc.

Good to know they have the amazing manpower to actually replicate a old game's bestiary.I wonder how much millions the worms actually cost?

Carlos will be playable? Means nothing without seeing the game.It could be a small qte segment or it could be a 5 minute segment?

Scraping a core mechanic and they are gonna scrap the randomness factor as well.

Modern capcom too lazy to actually include ending screenshots yet bothers with Nemesis real life photography.

Bonus:They are not going to give any new moves and are gonna fuck up the crafting part as well.

I liked Mr. X for the most part in REmake 2 but his AI isn’t all that well suited for Nemesis. He’s only random in that he patrols the station and unless you’re walking everywhere and never shoot a gun he is constantly zeroing in on you and never more than a minute away. He made it interesting to plot paths through a small location with enemies in certain critical areas but that’s not what Raccoon City is.
