Raedric bug is that some people get crashes when reenetering and reexiting areas, probably tied to the scripting that accounts for sneaking and so on.

Double click bug is when you double click to replace an existing equipped item with one in your inventory, it can sometimes erase some permanent bonuses for that character - e.g. always-on effects like Gunner. This is currently fixable by removing and readding party members, but not the PC.

I've seen some graphical bugs where paralysed or knocked enemies warp in the air and fly off into the sunset, but that's not a big deal.

Items are only greyed out when you use the filtering icons, right? I have no problem judging what things are by their icons. But even then I agree inventory design isn't the best, reminds you of Witcher 1.

I, so far encountered only two bugs - said inventory bug that cleared DDurance from his stats and Aloth dialogue bug. Latter is a harmless, but slightly annoying one.

Hmm, i noticed that the third weapon slot disappeared from that chanter dude. Could be that, since i did double click to change armors and robes and stuff. But it wasn't a bigy.
I have no idea if anyone else lost anything.
Nothing critical anyway and easily corrected it seems.

If items become grayed out because i use filtering icons... then how do i get them back to being all highlighted (in fact its just normal lighted)?
And why is all that even there? Who the fuck needs it? For what purpose?

I have to say i like the music and most of the voiceovers, especially the prologue dude.
Very character driven and atmospheric stuff, very much in line with the story and what each character is supposed to be like. (so far)

The only annoying companion is the small druid guy, being such a horrible cliche, but the rest are really good and add a lot to the whole.

Rock-stable and bug-free for me as well. One thing I've noticed and I'm not sure if it counts as a bug or is it intended: in Expert mode, with 'Don't Restrict Stash' option disabled, you can't access your stash in the wilderness, meaning you are not allowed to 'access' your stash. HOWEVER, if you pick an item from inventory and click on the stash icon, said item will happily go to stash! You can't do it the other way around though, ie. transfer an item from stash to your bag. I'm not sure if it's a bug, however 'Allow the stash to be accessed at any location' description is pretty obvious, thus it seems like a bug.

Yes, the third weapon slot disappearing is the double click bug at work. I'm sure many people never noticed their bonuses missing. But you can fix it for party members.

(What I hate about that is, all stats for killing things, damage dealt, etc. reset when you remove them from your party. What the hell, Obsidian? Why did you think that was a good idea?)

hiver just click on the filter icon again to unselect it? Come on, man. (You're right though that it's a prtty pointless button.)

Some of the voiceovers like Alroth are pretty meh, although I liked Maerwald. The music is wonderful, it's been composed well that in specific moments it really calls out to you to pay attention to it and sets the mood, but then it recedes nicely into the background.

Now a noob question: there are 8 companions right? I have Eder, Alroth, Durance, Sagani, Kana, Pallegina. I've done stuff in Defiance Bay and am ready to go to Dyrford, I feel I should have found the other two? Which areas are they in?

Yesss, and when i do that nothing happens and or all items get grayed out?
Which makes it hard to even recognize what they are without squinting and pressing my face against the screen.

Sure i can tell a weapon from an armor or a potion, but exactly which one between similar ones? - fuggedaboutit.
Ad there are items that seemingly completely blend with the background.

Anyway, somewhat annoying and completely pointless feature.

Whats with game dev studios and inventories anyway? Dont they ever play their own games?

It is curable for NPCs as you can dismiss and recruit them again, but for PC there is no cure apart from cheats. Waiting for patch.

Maybe you have a bug, I'm not sure. When a filter icon is clicked, it becomes depressed; if all filter icons are unpressed, the greyness should not persist.

My only guess is they wanted you to quickly see the inventories of multiple party members - but then, you can't even see all 6, anyway. Heh.

That doesnt mean all icons have to be that small and that inventory window has to be that small...

As far as i can tell i cannot unpress a filter icon. Just press another one instead.
But whatever, the game is certainly good enough to tolerate such smaller crappy features. Its only extra annoying because there seemingly isnt any purpose or reason for any of it.

I've only seen one serious bug so far; a key from one quest opened an unpickable door at a different location, leading me to stumble into a scene that seemed to be the climax of a completely different quest I hadn't even discovered yet.

I reloaded once I realized what was up, so I don't know how that kind of sequence breaking will do to the game, but it's probably nothing good.

The bugginess of this game is truly incredible. There's an entire smorgasbord of complete showstoppers to choose from, and even shit that can garbage up your computer, like save files bloating to 800+ megs.

I think Ultima VII was like 24 megs for the entire game.

Strange beat the game yesterday on hard, only bug I encountered was the Stinging Swarm not going away after fights.

My 18 hour save is at 2 MB, so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Also, Fallout, Arcanum, Torment and TOEE had bugs galore but it doesn't stop the Codex gushing over them.

OH WAIT OBSIDIAN DURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

You're missing the Grieving Mother in Dyrford Village by the apothecary and Hiravis, in Stormwall Gorge.

I am not experiencing this issue, and therefore it might as well not exist as far as I'm concerned

That shouldn't have been bait. It's not controversial. The game's packed with bugs, and some of them are meta-bugs, such as: abilities getting wiped off of character sheets, stats bugged so high a character can one-hit enemies barehanded, the aforementioned saved game bloat, the game crashing upon exiting an area and being unable to re-enter it subsequently, one of your characters suddenly attacking a friendly town NPC as your party moves past without being ordered and with no provocation (I can get a video of this if you like; it's pretty peculiar), the list goes on.

This shit's making news at Kiketaku and other shitty gaming "journalism" sites, but yeah, it's imaginary though. Probably Blaine trying to besmirch our beloved Obsidian's reputation.

Benign or gameplay bugs such as floating text continuing to appear after you've killed someone, visual anomalies such as the blue enchanted item border "showing through" multiple stash tabs onto items that aren't enchanted, Shadows teleporting too often, dialog bugs, etc. aren't a big deal, but there are plenty of them too.

Cool, thanks. Looks like I'm just about to find them. I'll be rotating them through playthroughs, so probably 3 playthroughs to get all the content.
