GOG key redeemed, no download available yet.
Pre-load's over.
Now it's time to stare at the picture of the game for 30 hours.
Pre-load's over.
Yeah. Well since there's no DRM to keep it locked on ours, I expect we won't be able to start downloading until release time.GOG key redeemed, no download available yet.
Same for my GoG Royal Edition too.
My keys are here!!!!! Squeeeeeek!
One question though. I pledged for the 35 dollar level, which includes the digital collectors book and the soundtrack, but the eternity page says I got Hero edition, which AFAIK is the basic edition. What's up with that? badler ? Or these will be downloadable seperately from the Eternity site?
So will my "DRM Free" collector's box have a key which is activatable on Steam or GOG, or is it a separate entity completely, with patches needing to be downloaded from Obsidian's website?
Wondering whether to activate my digital copy on Steam (for the preload & autopatching & DLC/expansion management) or GOG (for the DRM free download later).
badler ?
It's supposed to be a disc with an actual full game installer.
I asked awhile ago, and they said they'd probably be putting patches in the backer portal. Haven't seen an update on this recently.
Backer boxed copies all contain unprotected versions of the game. No Steam, SecuROM or anything else. If the planet is overrun by a zombie apocalypse, and you happen to live in Alexandria and have a modernish PC with a DVD-ROM drive, you'll still be able to play Eternity without any initial online connections! We will have loose patches available for this version once it's released too, that can be downloaded from our site.
I have a fucking painter coming to paint my bathroom thursday and possibly also friday. Oh well.
So I can already access the game manual through Steam. Is there any other digital content already accessible?
