I think they had two different artists, because there's a slight difference between them, which is evident when you compare certain features of some of them. It could, of course, be only one artist, or several more, but the differences are quite consistent (just compare, for example, how the faces are facing in some of them, and how "zoomed in" they are; once you notice the discrepancy, it'll bother you forever, if you're big on quality consistency, as I am).I don't like the portraits. Neither the one already in the game, neither those you just discovered.
If they went for BG1 it would have been much better (taking real pictures and painting on them).
Second one sort of looks like bartholomewLook what I found when exporting textures again:
There may be more, but it takes time to export all this shit.
That said, I'm not sure what to think. I suspect that these are part of the "free DLC" with portraits that they're working on, and they look cool, but I just don't think that they fit the established art-style very well, but to be fair, neither did the male Tiefling Portrait that they added (I'm surprised that even made it into the game, it looks like a flat speedpaint) in the Wildcards DLC.
On the other hand, they aren't released yet, so it's entirely possible they're holding them back in order to keep working on them for a while, there's really no way to tell.

About 80%. There is a patch coming out in January which will have some big quality of life improvements, but the game is completely playable right now (though rough around the edges) if you can’t wait.Has the game been patched enough to be enjoyable from beginning to end? Sorry if this question has been answered recently.
When are they patching in turn-based combat?
Son, why don't you make things easy for yourself and go suck on a car exhaust pipe instead? Same result at a fraction of the time.So now that weekend and holidays are here, I finally installed the DLC and decided to start over. Again. I'm going to finish this game one day, even if it kills me.
Except... I can't play the DLC. There's no thiefling, no kineticist. The new NPC is there at the start, so I know I installed it, but it just does not work. And a quick look on the internet shows that I'm not the only one with this problem. I'm playing Linux GOG version, but others have similar issues with Steam, Windows, Mac, whatever. And Owlcats seem at a loss at what's causing it, as the latest patch does nothing to fix it. Ugh.
Tsk, tsk, tsk. Broken record time again, eh? Some people are soooooo sensitive about their chosen game.Tried the game yet Cael?

why dont merhcants stock new healing potions for me? i literally visits everyone, they dont have healing potions no more
i use scrolls post combat, potion in combat since it is instant heal (half round, but whatevs)why dont merhcants stock new healing potions for me? i literally visits everyone, they dont have healing potions no more
Why are you using so many potions when scrolls are cheaper? Potions and scrolls should really be used outside of combat to stay healthy without resting all the time and wasting time. Spamming potions in combat sounds like a good idea but it's really not.
