My God, the tooltips in this game are absolute ass. Some things are literally just a mystery if it doesn't say in the Wiki.

Ah, never mind, you can hold alt then you can actually read the subtext. Increases stun buildup.

It's kinda both to be honest. Sometimes you *will* need to dodge through stuff especially against bosses. Your dodge will always be something you'll need unless you're using the 5 builds that one-shot bosses or freeze-lock them.

Auto-defences are important especially against juiced map mechanics like Breach, Deli, etc. You can never rely on just roll spamming everything.

Even if you have 90% armour and other defensive layers you'll still get one-shotted by bosses, that's what he meant

I know what he meant but my point is that him and Kripp complain about two completely opposite stuff. Kripps wants to not need to dodge and this guy says dodge is not needed often enough.

you can try it with lossless scaling frame generation, i don't technically need it but still use it just to avoid the fps drops due to grenade explosions (also towns are shit because of 50 other players)

supposedly theres a way to launch the game in dx11 which should help

The loot in this game really can drop good. I found a mace at start of act2 and only when i reached cruel act1 i switched for one barely better.

Yeah... I just had to look at the trade site to confirm whether armour/str boots with % move speed exist at all. :cry:

They are also dirt cheap over there, ssf is a hard life.
I had 10% move speed boots since lvl 14 and could not find a replacement with movespeed at all. I finally replaced them with new ones at lvl 58, still no movespeed but at least other stats are good. Luckily Demon Form is fast and has powerful dodge. For other classes there is Blink persistent buff.

Anyone else having constant lag 'stuttering' the last few days? I can see the ping in the menu spiking every couple seconds. Making the game unenjoyable to say the least.
For anyone else having this issue, if you are getting huge ping spikes, visible in the options menu on the upper right, just make a new instance of that area. Keep doing it til the spikes aren't there or it is tolerable.

Krip was a good player back in early poe1 beta but seems kinda retarded sellout nowadays, does sponsor streams daily and only grinded heartstone for 10 years since that was were the money was
Even in HS, the game he is playing on a daily, he's not that great. He really shouldn't be treated as authority on this game especially.

Clocked 40 hours and I´m at act 3. I think I´m going to leave the game on standby for a while to not burn out, until the early access has some updates polishing it.

- I think the game is great if judged as a SP ARPG experience: art design, atmosphere, MUSIC (downloaded it to listen outside the game), bosses. Overall a good campaign.
- Maps are too big, my only complain about the campaign. They look great and are varied, but overstay their welcome.
- Game is not just click to delete. Some encounters require good positioning and tactics, and bosses are well designed in general, except for some cheap ones.
- Probably balance and systems are not finished. For example crafting is 100% random. We should have some control and some randomness at the same time.
- Old PoE1 players probably will have complains about endgame and metagame. But from a newbie perspective wanting to play a good ARPG campaign and engage with the systems without going crazy is what I wanted.
- Shame is a live service game. This is a game worth surviving after servers close down.

This game is just stressing CPU unusually high (while compiling shaders or starting the game, my CPU temperature spikes to high 80ies, and I have custom water loop and whatnot), you should probably check the stability of your system under heavy load. Also there is an old bug of yesteryear with coloured artefacts if you alt-tab too much with exclusive fullscreen on (was fixed long ago with poe1)

In general you should switch off cpu0 in affinity menu in windows for some games that crash.

I agree that many campaign maps are too big. Now that I am replaying Act 1 to 3 on Cruel difficulty (act 3 Cruel now) I feel it even more. Act 1 I would say is even OKish, but Act 2 and Act 3 need some downsizing.
From what I have seen endgame is very similar to POE1 speed, there are multiple builds that allow you to delete screen very fast. Also the speed of enemies, their numbers and damage in "red maps" is about as rippy as in PoE1 red maps. I really hope this is just first pass at endgame and it all gets rebalanced.
There is no more dodging and tactical play in endgame from what I have seen, you mass delete the screen or you play a build that does.

It's only natural with this 'hardCOAARRRGH' system they've created - because the price of failure is extreme (you essentially loose all the meaningful loot on death as well as map consumable, and map sustain is bad atm), the only viable way to play the game in trade is to kill stuff before it even has a chance to look at you (and thanks to overabundance of chaos damage and paucity of gear that provide chaos res, CI is the king, with bonus immunity to bleeds and corrupted blood to boot). But you all wanted this, so why complain, go grind the maps (most I get at lv1 maps is like 2-3 exalts and some crappy yellows that I promptly vendor) and farm multiple fragments and invites to Lab4 ultimatum (watched pohx do it yesterday) :lol:

The design is schizophrenic atm. You take it slow and steady throughout the campaign, but endgame maps are still zoom zoom AoE fests. GGG need to figure out during EA what they want this game to be. If it turns out a retread of PoE1, I just won't play it.
