IIRC, they can use every Hangar unit, though I will check the case on BoPs. The Marauding Force is just the standard unit that comes with it.

The thing why it's so good is that unlike Kar'Fi the Marauder is a full-fledged Cruiser in its own right, and can tank really, really good. Still, Kar'Fi is definately a strong ship on paper.

I actually don't have a single human character.

And if they had better face textures the character would be a space jew.

I dunno if this helps or not but I hate fed klingons.Worf was a special snowflake

Its the same as the cloaking defiants, that cloak was a gift from the romulans for 1 ship only

Well I think fed klingons ARE special snowflakes in STO, since this is a grimdark Star Trek future where the klingons and federation are at war again. Don't you need something special to play klingon as fed, like a certain collector's edition or a purchase from the c-store or something?

Technically the only reason the Federation doesn't have cloaking technology is that they play nice and adhere to the treaty they made. So I believe you know who you should direct this complaint to:

Franklin Drake.

You still haven't reamed me with your nutty KDF ship yet Vaarna. One of these days! ONE OF THESE DAYS!

Gone back to my normal lazy routine of starting the game up every few days and buzzing around doing DOFF missions, then quitting and repeating. Also discovered the wonders of the DOFF grinder and chewed up a bunch of whites for some greens, and started running the section/specific DOFF missions. Almost makes me wanna use up the 20+ booster packs I have sitting in my bank.
Also finally looked up where to find those facility whateverwhatever DOFF missions to try to get more prisoners. Plus I've been having pretty good luck with extricating agents and grabbing defectors over in klingon space. Got a purple security officer DOFF out of that the other day I was happy as fuck with since that goes with contraband missions. And speaking of contraband I've stockpiled 100+ units of it and still haven't decided if I want to turn it in for dilithium or sell it on the AH for credits which I would use on... Lord knows what. I vaguely want one of those borg engineer BOFFs but I guess I should go for dilithium since I'll eventually have the credits to AH a borg at some point. Then again the dil to CP exchange has gone even higher so I dunno.

SPACE SHIPS!

You also get prisoners from the planetary invasion assignments you can get in Eta Eridani and Pi Canis.

Also, Orion science slave girl for Fed going for 5 million credits.

PS: Just holler whenever you see me and want to fight Skar. He does ground battles as well.

Federation is introducing a whole new type of weapon to space war:

http://www.stowiki.org/Heavy_Escort_Carrier

Now I'm being conflicted whether or not to go for the Defiant's cloak style, or this. Either way, from the direction of Qo'noS comes a sound that's like a million voices screaming in butthurt, only to be suddenly silenced.

That carrier/escort looks like the perfect ship if I ever have lots of money and time to waste again creating another Federation character.

I see there's an Account Bank iin the game now, but I can't access it, why is that? Do we need to fork over more money to the C(unt)-store first?

Silver players must buy a slot pack, Gold members get some free slots.

EDIT: Halp, I can't decide between Tac Retrofit and Escort Carrier for Jhe'rid's final ship!

I've got a Klingon character as well. The ships are pretty much better in every single way than the federation, faster, stronger, all can mount cannons, almost all have cloaks etc. Canon be damned.

But its just not as fun. I still go back to my Odyssey tac cruiser often.

At the request of Mr. Vaarna, the unstoppable Fleet Escort build of the mighty U.S.S. Sergyar!
1A1BC0C65D0D79CE497A880C32ECAD6EA95ABC10

Basic play. Tactical BOFFs, always have tactical team running (With minimum cooldown and two instances of it, there's something like 10 seconds out of every 30 that tactical team isn't running. Torpedo spread and scatter volley, again keep running as much as possible. Attack pattern omega 3 is primarily used for breaking out of tractor beams.
Engineering BOFFs, use emergency power to shields regularly and when needed. Mostly for the shield repair, but the reduced damage to shields is useful too. Reverse shield polarity is a special occasion "Oh shit" move when your shields are low on almost all facings, make sure you're being fired at and one tactical team is available, and trigger both tactical team and reverse shield polarity. For whatever reason, this will almost instantly (Depending on the amount of fire you're taking) fill all shield facings to max.
Science BOFF, both of these skills are situational. Transfer shield strength is usually best before you get to reverse shield polarity situations, when you're getting low even with emergency power to shields. Hazard emitters is for healing hull damage, for when shields briefly fall before being tac teamed/shielded/what have you.
Captain, mostly use whatever you want. I shamefully don't pay much attention to captain abilities, apart from attack pattern alpha, which I usually try to trigger if I know I'll have a decent shot (Almost always when first starting combat with you, Vaarna).

Ship build, usually max power to weapons (I'm on shields at the moment for the death beam test). 3 phaser dual cannons in front with a quantum torpedo, 3 phaser turrets in rear. Borg deflector, borg engine, MACO shield MK X. Engineering consoles, EPS +70%, +16 kinetic +16 all energy alloy, +32 plasma +32 tetryon alloy. Science consoles, +18% shield capacity (I thought that was higher, actually. Did that console get nerfed?) and borg console. Tactical consoles, +22%, 21%, 19% phaser damage consoles, and +22% quantum damage console.
