In the end I went Tiefling. I just love the tail, it's so hugs, and after creating so many Tieflings back in release I can make a really cute one without even trying. All my humans looked... Weird. Slightly odd. So I was, roll a character, play around a bit, ewww, don't she looks, like, weird from this angle? REROLL! >.<

So I guess I'll just save for a Hellhound mount. From what I was told they don't clip the pretty tail.

That's... 1250000 AD at the current exchange rate.

Bloody ouchies.

You loveable assholes better tip a bleeping lot if I ever decide to try my paw at the Foundry to get the cuddly litte imp guy. >.<

Though now that I think of it, how come you are not all playing Tieflings?

I mean,

:martini:

Really, doodz.

So, anyway.

I'll level a bit and play around to make sure I won't be re-rolling because, OMO, eyes are too small from this angle or, aish, legs look a bit too skinny from this side, or, aigoo, I could really do with a bit more bust, and so on, and then join the guildy thingie.

My main is a tiefling.

But it's also very Codexian that your alt pool is Warriors of Diversity.

PS: Word of advice, if you're going to get a premium Mount, get a Stormraider Clydesdale horse. It's the same price range as Blue premium mounts, but Purple quality. Since, you know, it's only a horse. Also of note is that the Zen mounts are all account-wide.

i'd buy a premium mount in a heartbeat if they had some actually mundane mounts like not armored to hell horses. so many ways to make a horse look premium without going the "add more armore plates.. no, wait, let's make it a ghost, no, make its eyes glow" shitroute.
btw, can you change tiered armor to the looks of low level noob gear?

Because my first toon in STO/NWO was Codexia, and I decided to make her an amalgam of the Kritcal Kodex Konsesus demographics (the rest are just clones of her).

So she became a potato tranny.

:codexisforindividualswithgenderidentityissues:

You can transmute it, not sure if the value of the transmuted or the transmuting item defines the cost. So calculate with something between 60k and some change for that.

well i got tiefling gwf slave u know...my harem is vast and grrrrrrrowing ...

Wouldn't surprise me if you actually have a female toon in each race/class combinashun.

Yea, I'd like some non-armored horsies at top tier myself, but you takes what you gets and all that.

Anyway, yea you can. 50k Astral Diamonds a pop for max level gear, so if you wanna use that get some Leadership 20's on the pipeline (with 3 Leadership 20 alts, you can relatively often get 50k+ AD every three days). For example my Warlock posted earlier has a transmuted Pact Blade (transmuted into Ancient Netherese Pact Blade, the best looking pact blade that's a blue random drop in Vellosk content; so it's dirt cheap on AH).

close but not yet ... :australia:

ps. tried today to do some quests for that retarded dragon campaign ....and i absoluteley love LOVE blue knights with their freezing whirlwind ....

and craptic quality coding at its finest ... with rogue i must open with stun and then do enough dmg to kill fuckers before they kill me firing their combos .. so stun is esential ...
but what u say ? u need to stun them or u dead ? fuck u they always fire their combo even if u fired ur stun first ...fucking morons code monkeys ....and yes this ilustrate that i will probly not do that retarded campaign also

every fucking time i get itch to play something im reaffirmed in my distaste by their quality product ... fuck it

and this ends another quality rage post news at 11...

But... But what about FashionSouls FashionWinter? T.T

I need somethingie which fits a cute Tiefling Warlock and doesn't clip the tail. >.<

Otherwise I'll just keep the crappy Waterdeep Horse and cry meself to sleep. U.U

I run faster than that thingie gallops, FFS.

On four inch heels. >.<

Anyway, I hope they repeat the Call to Arms skirmish thingies soon. Then I'll get myself a Shadow Wolf and call it a day.

And a Ghost Paladin. I need moar undead minions. >.<

I got meself some cheapo underlings for Sword Coast Adventures and the passive boni because I am still trying to discover what use does Gold has beyond buying cheapo underlings, cheapo horsies, and skill kits, and I prefer to just buy a stack of 99 kits for 20 AD and call it a day anyway, but I always end up using the undead doggie as active companion.

He so cutiepie.

Mainly because the Tieflings in this game look like aliens from Star Wars and not cute like Neeshka.

Sir, I must protest.

50k per piece? That's actually... reasonable.

I'll keep the cool lowbie Warlock armor in case I don't like the look of the endgame pieces. The body piece with the cropped top and the grimoire is so cool.

Since we are on topic, is your Drow Warlock called Varna and is followed around by a weird, non cheapo, companion?

Because I think I ran into you yesterday, or maybe the day before. :P

Nah, my Warlock is called Ulvein Auvryndar.

As for alternatives, I've got several sets of Waterdhavian fashion from the anniversary lying around unbound. You can also check how the set gear looks like at the Collection (Ctrl+J). I'm wearing Devilish Warlock's set with GF dye, looks great.

Waterdhavian fashion looks like this ass a dress with default colours: http://images-cdn.perfectworld.com/arc/92/62/926238caa781056711b7edf3e1c1b8d91403196734.jpg

Achtung guys, I just got the Artifact Weapon chest, and the result of the test is: The box content is randomized, so be wary of that before planning too far ahead.

You know me well enough. That's a recolored wedding dress, isn't it? One of the reasons why I tried out humans and why I am at times still tempted to reroll as one is that the tail would KILL it. It is my favorite dress in the entire game. >.<

On the topic of pretty clothes, a friend of mine just told me to check the Turmian Merchant set out because the female version was extremely witchy.

So I did.

c4c45c666c9d202341ea21e123281d711386262464.jpg

That shade of brown is not very witchy so it needs a little work, but I really like it. It's very witchy too. And it's cheap. 150000 AD for each piece. 450000 total. Plus tintures

The only problem is, I get the impression the horns and the tail would murder it HARD.

You guys have no idea how painful it is to be a fashionista. T.T

The tail isn't that bad with most things, I should know given the Wizard propensity for loincloth. Only thing you need to remember is to keep the head clear unless it's a circlet or something. Sometimes the tail actually adds a nice extra to POSE:

The horse-clipping with the tail never bothered me, since horse is just for getting from point A to B more expediently.

I ran my first new dragon skirmish and made it an epic for good measure.

We progressed steadily with some hard hitters along the way causing frantic and liberal use of potions. I was feeling us not having a cleric along.
Got to the boss and wiped a couple times, slotted Knights Valor (now I'm really feeling not having a cleric) - we did much better but wiped a couple more.
OK slotted Furious Reaction - we all held out as long as we could and with the boss down to around... (I don't know ) almost no visible red left on the bar and - dead all dead...

aaaaaaaawuuuuuu? No not all dead. One dude held out/ came back with res enchant and finished up. Yippie.

Time to open chest and use my [10k AD, 2 days of dragon encounters key] to open the bonus chest too:

[21:30] [Quest Notify] "Claim Your Reward" complete!
[21:30] [Inventory Notify] You received 6,600 Copper.
[21:30] [Inventory Notify] You received Greater Scroll of Identification.
[21:30] [Inventory Notify] You received Draconic Enchantment, Rank 5.

[21:30] [Quest Notify] "The Shores of Tuern Epic" complete!
[21:30] [Quest Notify] Resolved the quest "The Shores of Tuern Epic".

[21:30] [Inventory Notify] You received 6,600 Copper.
[21:30] [Inventory Notify] You received Greater Scroll of Identification.
[21:30] [Inventory Notify] You received Draconic Enchantment, Rank 5.
Bastards.

The boss has this 360 wave damage type attack that really kicks. I can't say exactly how far the range is but it seemed to have well enough of a reach. There is an animation associated with it but I still can't tell it apart from his other 'about to do a special attack' ones.

Freeze, not Chill. I won't even notice this change myself, but my wager is that it's an attempt to stop stunlocking in PvP. It won't affect anyone except freezelock specialized Wizards, Thaumaturges (who are the actual counterpart for Warlock) are completely unaffected.

this shitty "3 sec immunity" is really bad ... most combos or rotations are faster than 3 sec so it totally fucks with flow of combat

for reference point :

  • Control Wizard: Freeze and Chill: After a target has been Frozen they are immune to new Chill stacks for 3 seconds. This lock out affects all Wizards.
  • Control Wizard: Shatter Strike: After a target has been stunned by Shatter Strike they are immune to new chill stacks for 4 seconds (3 seconds on players). This lockout affects all Wizards.
  • Control Wizard: Master of Flame: Twisting Immolation: This feat will no longer ignore control immunity.

Not entirely certain, given that the 3 seconds starts at the initial Freeze I think... So if your Freeze stun duration is large enough and you patch the gap with other stuns, you will barely notice the cooldown. My guess is that the nerf is PvP-oriented, since I could see some people setting up 100% permastun rotations.
